  • Well thats what people buy from the lot lol!! Brand new all read getting tore up!

  • The break in period is typically 300miles. On a side note though my cousin was an auto transport driver. 95% of all new vehicles are hammered and then put back on the rig for delivery to the dealership. These guys didn't do anything that probably didn't already take place somewhere else. Trust me I tested a 2011 shelby that was on its way to Florida.

  • review totally sucked!!! i mean punching it once or twice would be more than enough to "advertise" but this comes to show the credibility of your staff.

  • i'm really thinking to get one, but i'm more into the new challenger srt8 6.4 392, lets see which one is faster then i'll pick the faster one .

  • "Sticking to the road like glue."

As indicative of the 3.21 live rear axle.

    That's why I'd get a boss or at least a 3.73 axle.

  • I feel the need to jump in here. You don't have a "break in" period to worry about. the car won't let you do anything that's going to hurt it. These things aren't fragile-at all. Why would anyone want a car, supposedly built for spirited driving, if you had to be careful with it? I understand where all the import people are coming from, but this is a MUSTANG. Be careful with you hondas and yotas. Drive the hell out of your Fords. They're built to take it. Nice job guys.

  • @MyFordofKirkland that does not matter! you still need to break in no matter what! until atleast 2k miles!

    - FORD GUY

  • @errenthovsep it really doesnt matter any more man, put the car in gear and go, this particular engine has cast iron rings, and roller followers. the rigns break in so quickly, drive it up a hill under moderate load once or twice and they are seated, than the followers have very little friction and oil gets there with in 5 seconds. doesnt need 2000 miles of break in. if we are talking about a track only engine the story would be different based on what type of lifters and rings that are being

  • @errenthovsep sorry i coudlnt finish my second part, for some reason youtube woudlnt let me. what i was saying was that cars are ready to go out of the box, the break in on a car like this is really uneccesary. just saying. not trying tobe a dick or any thing and i am not looking for a fight. i work for ford and had alot of instruction by some of the best engine builders and machineists on the east coast, and i am not trying to sound like a genuis either.

  • the review wasnt to good though, but the car itself is more than fine and i am sure the owner is very happy with it

  • BREAK IN PERIOD!!! What were you guys thinking?

  • ooo! I want to buy a car from a dealer who hotdogs in new cars then sells them!!

I wonder what goes on with the cameras are off?

  • Hah Americans killing their own cars they're supposed to be proud of. What disrespect to the future person who is going to drop $35k of their hard earned money on this car. These cars can handle the abuse but at least get 2k on the clock before trying that.

  • Lets fuck it up before we sell it lolol

  • @grpanos13 lol hell ya

  • @Lctsforce haha! Thanks for the comments

  • first off i live down the road in cleveland tn. my credit probably isnt the best right now. im upside down on a trade. but if you can get me a 2011 gt for $375 mth ill sign the dotted lines. .ive owned a 2 t/a's and 2 camaros i cant stand driving my 09 galant anymore. i have a need for speed

  • Note to self... Avoid buying a Mustang from this dealership.

Unless of course you like your brand new car taken for joy ride by the sales guys.

  • Great review, i love these videos...don't listen to the negative comments you guys make the car look and sound exciting its not just another boring car review. thanks guys!

  • Great real life review keep making video's we I live in pa but this video made me consider purchasing one and we ended up doing it and we are having so much fun thanks guys!

  • snake oil salesman.....why test a mustang with an automatic trans......

  • snake oil salesman.....

  • LOL GOOD TO KNOW YOU SHOULD *NOT* BUY FROM THESE IDIOTS.

  • Who isn't wearing there seatbelt?

  • @OnusofStrife The passenger was guilty. Hes a big ole boy and it was hard to film and move around easily in that car.

  • @yourchattanoogaford Ah makes sense.

  • gay

  • @mabt929929

Not really sure how to respond to that, but we do appreciate you giving us another view to our videos. That beind said, is there any particular car video that you would like to see...? Within reason of course. Let us know, and we'll try to produce it.

  • @yourchattanoogaford just don't try to be nice ok?....

don't destroy the car before you sell it.

    GAY...

    why?

everyone here knows what engine this car has, how much power, AND what it can do.

  • @leomitz When you don't get a decenty high performance car over 70-75 mph, I would hardly call that destroying the car. Thanks for watching.

  • @yourchattanoogaford ok ok ok...how about telling us what you can do about financing, about how different your dealer is...things like that...

  • @leomitz we can help you with whatever necessary. send us a message through the message feature rather than in the comment thread if you are interested in financing.

  • @yourchattanoogaford ok ok ok...how about telling us what you can do about financing, about how different your dealer is...things like that...sorry for being a jerk, u seem to be nice

  • @mabt929929 I understand yu bud... the car is NOT gay...but these two guys are!

I would never buy a car at that dealership....why? they destroy the car before they sell it...

    SO YEAH

    They're totally gay

so is the fat guy's review.

  • Thanks for the good real life review!

  • @r56mini

You are welcome! Thanks for viewing! Thanks for commenting!

  • Traffic? Come to California and drive on the 91 freeway

  • You can already hear the engine tick, check the forums, many people are having this engine tick issue.

  • Lol.. "we apologize, we'd like to go faster but we can't" It's ok. you don't have to. If you would accept my credit score, you'd sell a car. Great video, excellent test, and it was mostly legal! =D Don't worry about all the whiners. They are just jealous that they can't test one. <------

  • it has 435 horses ford just says it has 412

  • You're the reason I factory ordered my 5.0!

  • king of the road

  • this is why you should never buy the "dealer demo" car. or any new car with more than 10 or so miles on it.....lol

  • finally someone who isnt scared to show what the car has

  • Looks like Chris Farley.

  • good video guys, cars a bulit to be drivn. and flogged. for all those who had negative comments go buy a volvo thats of course if you could afford it.

  • chris farley isn't dead....he's selling cars in tennessee!

  • Is the 5.0 transmission actually made in china? I saw a window sticker yest on the lot and I was praying for a misprint!

  • @overheadcam32 sadly, yes most parts on any Ford or GM are made in China or Mexico. Cheap labor. Doesn't mean it will put a yield on the cars performance.

  • ya know what thats a good idea....make a video to give you an excuse to beat the hell out of a brand new car....better yet heres one use this phone number 423 883-4933 and put a listing on craigslist saying you have a brand new GT for sale at the price of 25k...and dont forget CALL NOW! lol

  • i would never by a car from that dealer

  • @dgilb1986 That's just how it goes. I use to work at a Hyundai/Toyota dealer and when the Genesis Coupe came out, everybody in the showroom took a turn running that bitch.

  • @1976CobraII Is there any way to avoid buying a 'new' car that's been used heavily by a dealership?

  • @topdogsean1 Honestly, all I can say is look at the milage. Not every car is going to be "test driven", but if you're unsure try to get a new car that's got like under ten miles on it. Probably your safest bet.

  • Generally seeing a new car get beat like that is a turn off unless its by a prospective buyer..just makes it look like the car was used and abused by everyone which is not something i would want if I was forking over $30K+ on a new car..used i can see..

  • can i have your job please?

  • are they selling that exact one? the one they just did a doughnut in

  • @thepaintballer898 yes, you'd be surprised what dealers do with their cars, doesn't do much harm.

just gotta know what to look for when buying...check the tread on the tires always

  • Anyone who thinks Ford is gonna ship a 5.0 that isn't ready to be thrashed from the moment it fires up doesn't know what they are talking about.

  • great video guys, im plannin on gettin one of these soon!

  • Next time do a video with a 5.0L manual transmission car. Automatic = gay.

  • As a performance engineer for an automaker, I don't understand why everyone on here is getting so crazy about this video. You all do realize that these cars are tested much more extreme than this right?! Especially Mustangs...Fact is, car looks great, sounds great, and I bet it drives great. Can't wait til this week when my local Ford dealership gets one so I can have a nice test drive. Good work guys!

  • So they revved the engine a few times, BIG DEAL, get over it people.. Customers do it too! I went to the ford dealership in 2008 and test drove an 08 GT manual. I went to red line in first, second, and third. Oh yeah the car was blue!

  • Yeah no, do some research, if i was not a tech id belive your bulls%$#, but i am a tech, the fact is techs get 0 cars to drive home, service managers do to give test rides and by driving it home and back they can actually explain things to customers, and also i actually watched the video, you redlined it 3 times, "oh but its an automatic", still redlined, just remember that you abuse cars, every dealeship does, dont mean its right. all the readers can look it up and see im right!

  • @tamaninja00

I did not have a seatbelt on in the passenger seat because I was trying to use the camera as much as possible. The seatbeat chime sound was annoying during the video though.

  • @tamaninja00 Also, the car didnt have the pee beat out of it. We never got it over 70 mph and driving it with high RPMs already happened with that car at the factory. It was a test unit that came with 43 miles on it. They drove it much harder at the factory. Cars arent made the same as they were years ago. It truly is ok to drive them hard from day one. Ask any engineer at Ford, Toyota, Honda, etc.

  • @yourchattanoogaford Testing a car at a factory and reving the engine...fine, that's to be expected and needs to happen anyway to make sure all the gaskets and rings are seated properly. But doing a donut with someone's future car (regardless if it was a test car or not)...unacceptable. It prooves nothing, its just you guys showing off, which is what the video is all about, but if you're buying a 412hp GT...you know what it can do already, and you don't need to do that.

  • @tamaninja00

The car actually sold yesterday to a local business owner. He saw the same video on metacafe and came in and asked for that specific car. It is the only one we have right now along with the new 305HP V6. The videos was a success. It is the only video we need for that car and don't plan to do it again. Video made, car sold, still plenty of views to come with plenty of feedback to be posted. Thanks for watching.

  • @yourchattanoogaford Haha, he asked for that car specifically? awesome.

  • @yourchattanoogaford very professional response.. i like that

  • @yourchattanoogaford Going job selling your Mustang using your sales videos ; )

  • @yourchattanoogaford suck my dick

  • @tamaninja00

that was BARELY a donut.. honestly if that was my car, and im pretty particular, I wouldn't care

  • Comment removed

  • @tamaninja00 it can handle it, stop worrying.

  • Comment removed

  • @tamaninja00 theres probably only 1% of ppl that buy mustangs that haven't alrdy had someone with a led foot test drive it..

  • note to self..... dont buy a red 2011 5.0 from chattanooga ford... bahaha naaah good video i enjoyed it.

  • Hey guys great videos! If I purchased one of these beasts I would be looking into a supercharger off of Ford Performance (they make the gt500). Any chance that when this supercharger comes out you can install it for me?

  • @ktmlover90

We sure can. I sent you a message with contact info. Read it and email me. I will get you some info on the install. Thanks again!

    Shaun Kesler

  • Everyone is a expert on youtube!

    Shit is hott!!! I have a 95 GT 5.0L 302 CI.

Like your guys style "Let's quit talking about it and drive it!"

Shit is nice. thanks for the Vid!

  • It has nothing to do with mph, you guys over reved the thing when new, the piston rings are not seated yet, do some research before you speak and sound like a jack@#$, that car will have future problems now because of your stupid video!

  • @cowmilky

I take it you didn't like the video. Sorry that you wasted time on watching it. We just try to produce videos that get people's attention. Thanks again for the comments.

  • @cowmilky oh fuck! you drove a sports car fast!

  • @cowmilky

I understand where you are coming from on the MPG not being a big deal and the concept of it being over revved. Two things on that. It was an automatic transmission that was never even close to being redlined.

  • @cowmilky Number two:

The car was already tested at high RPMs at the factory. It was a test unit that came with 43 miles on it. It has a sticker on it showing the test and amount of miles. They drove it much harder at the factory.

  • @cowmilky

Ford pulls one out of every 50 units that come down the line of all brands to send home with a tech. They are driven to limits as well as real world conditions for about 40 miles. They have to disclose it with the sticker on the windshield. Cars arent made the same as they were years ago.

  • @cowmilky lol... It's what the car was made for a Mustang GT isn't made to sit around in the shade. I had one that I gave utter hell to for 8 years. I never had a problem out of it, I sold it, and the guy who bought it is still driving it. Stop listening to old ghost stories that stuff you're talking about "damaging the engine" can happen to any car. If it happens to mine I would rather it happen earlier that way the warranty fixes it for me.

  • @cowmilky Please do some research yourself. You must create high load in short bursts to get the best possible piston ring seat. Most manufacturer break in recommendations are to ensure idiots do not hold it to redline and keep it there bouncing off the limiter. If you dont seat it right early, and drive it aggressive later in the cars life, you are going to run into problems. The best engine break in is high load burts, followed by regular manufacturer break in, varying rpm etc.

  • @mrfancypanties Yes you have an opinion, and your entitled to it, I'm not changing mine, my research has been done years before this stupid video, your an idiot salesmen like all are, I'm a technician and will comment on stupid video's all i want, you can lie to all your customers if you want, its your decision to be dishonest!

  • @cowmilky First off, I am far from being a salesman. There are different schools of thought regarding break in. The manufacturer obviously attempts to minimize warranty claims with procedures that would not risk an engines health. I am only saying that short periods of high load during break in (shown in the video) does not automatically equal a damaged engine. High load can be used to get the best possible ring seal, without glazing or creating high spots

  • @cowmilky After looking at the video, he didnt even get the vehicle to redline. If that particular engine ends up damaged, it is most likely from from a manufacturer defect. Although I cannot comment if the engine was "warmed up" and at proper operating temp. Which would be stupid on a cold engine

  • @cowmilky i really dont think so, the car has cast iron rings which seat very quickly, once under a load a few times like driving up a hill or such will seat those fine, the car is a commuter car not a track only engine where a more proper break in would be essential for engine life. i guarentee this car will not have any problems do to what they did, regardless of it beging right or not. im not saying doing donuts is proper on a new car, im a ford tech and i woudlnt do it

  • @cowmilky alot of people buying these cars are going to drive it much harder and mroe agressive as soon as they leave the lott. put it in gear and go drive as your please, whether its like this or sitting idleing, which these guys could have done withe car while showing it off, which would have negative affects, like alot of imcomplete combustion which happens at idle. most techs and people who work on the cars drive them like they stoll them. and have engines that last much longer than

  • @cowmilky than people who baby they're cars

  • Exactly the reason I would demand a vehicle that has just been driven off the truck! Buying a new vehicle with any more than a couple of miles is a risky proposition!

  • @overheadcam32

It wasn't wailed on by any means. In fact, the mini doughnut was at less than 10mph and we never got it over 70mph. The videos are not intended for positive or negative selling, but only for the fun of the viewers. We just want everyone to enjoy and know why we are one of the best out there when it comes to video! Thanks for watching. :-)

  • I was more of a chevy guy till my dad bought an 06 GT. Love the sound and the aftermarket potential of the stang. At 19, it's a bit hard for me to find a job at the moment. The new 5.0 is certainly my dream car. I posted cause I watched a couple of your videos. Wish our dealers made reviews like u guys. Great job!

  • Really enjoy your videos. Awsome job!!

  • @XxThElOlMaNxX1

Thanks for the compliments as well! Keep on watching. We'll have more soon!

  • I'd love to. If I didn't live in SoCal. Lol

  • @XxThElOlMaNxX1

We have sold to every single state except for Hawaii as well 5 other countries outside of the US. Typically our customers arrive at the airport, we pick them up at the airport and help them get on their way within an hour. We have also put customers in touch with shipping companies who have picked the vehicles up delivered them to their front doorstep. There are tons of ways to buy a car from across the country!

  • Omg!!! Love the sound of the 5.0. Awsome video guys.

  • @XxThElOlMaNxX1 Thanks for watching! We have some more stuff coming out soon. We just need better weather than what we have now. You ought to come to Chattanooga and take one back home with you!

  • note to self: dont buy a demo from mtn view ford.

  • @rmiles01 It wasn't wailed on by any means. In fact, the mini doughnut was at less than 10mph and we never got it over 70mph. The videos are not intended for positive or negative selling, but only for the fun of the viewers. We just want everyone to enjoy and know why we are one of the best out there when it comes to video! Thanks for watching. :-)

  • @rmiles01 One other thing, that car isnt a demo. It should have around 50 miles on it. It came from the factory with 43(randomly selected car for RC testing). We put a total of 7 miles on it and you seen them all. We certainly appreciate you watching though! :-)

  • Excellent Test Drive, we are still waiting for our first 5.0L ourselves

  • @PierreFordSeattle

Thanks for the compliments! Did you see the 2010 video?

  • 0- ssssssssssixty

  • Cannot Wait to see the new vids guys thanks!!! And lets see her out on RT24 opened up!! LOL :)

  • @lilicep06

Not so sure about opening that one up on I 24. Not enough room with the summer traffic. I'm telling you, it is WAY WAY quicker than the 2010 model.

  • omg you guys rock!!! I watched you two review the 2010 Mustang GT, and take it down the highway! One year later...I've got a '10 GT.

  • @ReverseWhiplash

Thanks! We definitely appreciate the feedback! I hope you enjoy the 2010. Come get a 2011 or send someone out way!

  • @ReverseWhiplash I bet you feel sick getting the 2010 GT then one year later this beast comes out i would be pissed off.

  • @iceman241111,

Nahh I dont feel sick getting the 2010 GT. Its a fast, fun car to drive. The new 5.0 is just a little bit more. Plus there is a bigger market available for the 4.6L...so I have a better selection table.

  • If I buy THAT one do I get a huge discount since you guys have already beat it up?

  • @idiotfieldmouse It wasn't wailed on by any means. In fact, the mini doughnut was at less than 10mph and we never got it over 70mph. The videos are not intended for positive or negative selling, but only for the fun of the viewers. We just want everyone to enjoy and know why we are one of the best out there when it comes to video! Thanks for watching. :-)

  • @yourchattanoogaford As far as a huge discount. I can guarantee you that noone in the country will beat our prices if you are interested. We have sold to every single state except for Hawaii and also have 5 different countries we have sold to. I can assure you they don't buy from us because they like the way I talk--haha!

  • @yourchattanoogaford I was just kidding guys! I like it when a dealership knows how to have fun! And hey when I go to get my new 5.0 if you guys can beat my local For dealership's prices I don't have any problem driving on down! It's only a state a way (in Knoxville at least)

  • boooooo its an automatic

  • @vanquishman Lol! It is the only one we have for now. Believe you me, we wish it was a manual as well!

  • It has been shown by many performance shops that this engine actually makes 430 to 440 HP. Awesome.

  • @TroutButter

That is correct. Its 412 at the wheel so it is a tad underrated. Great car with a ton of power for the money!

  • @yourchattanoogaford

No, it's not 412 rwhp, they've been from 360-390 at the wheels depending on which dyno it was and it was SAE and how they ran it.

  • @yourchattanoogaford, they arent producing 412whp it pumps out 375whp on a 5th gear pull, in 4th it pulls higher numbers but the 1:1 ratio is in 5th

  • i wonder what my 2010 GT premium (loaded, except class roof) would be worth as a trade-in?Cant find anything on the net.

  • @55stangdude How many miles? Color? Navigation? Color of interior? Any wrecks, nicks, dings, dents, scratches? Manual transmission or automatic?

  • @yourchattanoogaford only 6000 miles,no dints or scratches.5-speed manual,rapid spec 401A,Premier trim w/color accent,3.55 limited slip,comfort package,19' premium wheels,Electronics package(nav.),rear view camera,Grabber blue.I live no where close,just curious.Great videos,btw.I have several of my own on here.

  • Hey Guys, They do make seat belts for a reason number 1 being for your own personal safety, and 2 for not annoying the crap out of me while watching the video!! Anyways nice vid guys, but you seem just a alot more excited in laster years video of the 2010 GT than you do in the 2011 GT!! I would have thought 412 HP and 390 pd ft of TQ would be alot more fun than you made it seem!!

  • @lilicep06

I didnt have mine on because it was restricting me from moving around with the camera. Sorry about the dings. Yes it should be alot more fun, but there was dense traffic and we wanted to keep things safe. We'll put some more stuff up soon. Thanks for watching!

  • rodney my boy

  • Well I wouldn't want to buy an un-broken-in Mustang that's been wailed on by the dealer. That's why I special order my cars... I want it to arrive with about five miles on the clock so I know that I'm the one that's breaking it in.

  • It wasn't wailed on by any means. In fact, the mini doughnut was at less than 10mph and we never got it over 70mph. The videos are not intended for positive or negative selling, but only for the fun of the viewers. We just want everyone to enjoy and know why we are one of the best out there when it comes to video! Thanks for watching. :-)

  • @crispiegee1 Ordering is a good idea though. You can save some money. Would you like a Black on black 5 speed hard loaded? Let me know and we will save you some money. Thanks again for viewing!

  • @yourchattanoogaford Hey, I don't know why that double-posted on me. Sorry about that. And yes I agree, you guys weren't over-the-top abusive, but I'd still order.

As for right now, I don't have the dough, but will hopefully be in a better position in 2012. Also, I'm hoping they'll bring back sunset gold or some kind of copper color, as I'd like that with a black hood (and 302 badges!). I'd have to be assured of a good trade on my 300C, of course. ;-)

  • @yourchattanoogaford Sorry about the double posting - I don't know why it did that. Yeah, I guess you guys weren't horrendously abusive - I just feel that you have to be careful about engine break-in periods.

As for me, I won't be ready to buy for at least another year. Maybe by then they'll have a copper color available, because I'd love to put a black hood on it, as well as 302 badges for the fenders. Saddle tan leather & a glass roof too. Of course, I'll want a good trade for my 300C. :-)

  • @yourchattanoogaford lol u mean 6speed

  • ah thank you guys for doing this review! ive watched last years review more than any other video! lol

  • @USFCARTWRIGHT

Not a problem! We enjoy doing the videos! We even sold a few cars off of last years video. It all worked out well. Keep on tuning in. We have some stuff coming up on the new 2011 Super Duty and the new 305 HP V6 Mustang as well.

  • Haha! Boring accents huh? Lol, mine is hideous, but I do the best I can. Believe or or not, I do carry some education with that backwoods accent of mine! haha Thanks for watching the video!

  • i am jealous of the accent. i am serious, i want one. us yankees have such boring accents.

  • holy fuck!!!!
