I just love how some things are universal throughout the Indian subcontinent. The bamboo flute exists everywhere in India, even though the people may look very different, have very different cultures etc; they'll always have the flute in common.

मैं बांसुरी हूँ . पोली बांस की पोंगरी . कोई होंठ पे रख ले तो बांसुरी हो जाये . और कोई होंठ पे न रखे तो बस बांस की पोंगरी . गीत बांसुरी के नहीं होते . गीत तो बांसुरी वादक के होते है . वो वादक अद्रश्य है . बांसुरी तुम्हे दिखाई पद रही है . इस लिए खींचे आते हो . खिचे आते रहे तो धीरे धीरे यह गीत तुमसे भी प्रकट होगा . मेरा प्रत्येक सन्यासी इस गीत को आज नहीं कल गायेगा . इस नृत्य को नाचेगा
