@venkimayyu Hello Venkimayyu. Indeed you are correct. I showed Narashardoola as Nayaka/Leader. I can literally break the word down or show an interpretation of Narashardoola. I didn't like the former because Rama's character is not relevant with the anger and ferociousness you would normally associate a tiger with. :)
@pratyagatchaami Thanks for the explanation!! True, Rama is usually not associated with ferociousness. However, it could mean his Veeram ! Anyway very nice work. Keep it up.
@venkimayyu Yes Sir. I use shikhara at 0.22 to denote veeram at the mention of Narashaardoola. It probably didn't come across as effectively or you wouldn't be pointing it out. But again, this was my first video :).
Very beautifully done abhinayam indeed! Not only is this a tribute to Smt M.S. but also her daughter Smt Radha Viswanathan who was a dancer till the age of 22, one of the earliest students of Vazhuvoor Sri Ramaiah Pillai
@paramparaa1916 Thank You Sir/Madam for your lovely comment. I have seen a recent abhinayam video of Radha maami. Have you seen it? She looks quite resplendent reminiscing about her dancing days. I did not know she was a student of Vazhuvoor Ramaiah Pillai Sir!
@hulk70006 I have posted Smt Radha Viswanathan's abhinayam as a response to this video. You can see it as soon as pratyagatchaami approves it. Or you can also see it if you visit our channel paramparaa1916
"Subha akka, you invoke the goddess Lakshmi when you dance. Please refuse my friend request because you don't know me, but I just wanted to let you know you dance lovely. Please continue to post your videos on the web. I would love to learn from you and dance a song that you have danced to and your video has taught me.
very clean lines and bhava !just one little thing : it sees that you are showing it to someone . dance as if no one is seeing- just you and the lord !with so much devotion that nothing else matters !
@tomememe Yes, that was the idea. To focus on Sahitya-bhava (emotive power of words) rather than music and percussion. PLus, the high throughput of words was quite a challenge to execute. Glad you liked it! :)
@pratyagatchaami Love your work on here! I can just imagine how challenging it was to work with the words like that. Do you have a translation of the words? Another favorite video is your Mathematics of Bharata Natyam. Isolating the feet in the video makes them stand out so well and draws emphasis to the speed and presicion involved. Another great effect! Thanks so much for putting such excellent work out there.
I was just looking for suprabhatam, but instantly i saw bharatnatayam choreography. This is really amazing and to express the lyrics in different mudras and expressions... its really great. I am delighted. thanks... and may god bless this artist......
To find a student like you is very difficult. Very very nice. Now I have become a fan of yours. One of my very sincere and excellent student is Vijna Vasudevan .I am her first Guru in Muscat.. She has made me very very proud . Very sincere and dedicated just like you. your video proves your dedication. that too being a Phd student..kEEP IT UP. GOD BLESS YOU.
@csppnaa I have seen Vijnas performance videos. She has great angasudhdhi. I am so happy to learn you were her first guru. Thanks for your blessings. Much needed :)
excellent choreography!picture perfect except for a giggle at 0.08(i didnt understand why). The lighting could have been better..a bit glaring at times
@pratyagatchaami You are most welcome...I am amazed with your performance at your young age...Despite your busy schedule being PHD Student....you are concentrating so much on dance..it is really amazing.
@pratyagatchaami I dont know why your video response could not appear on mine. Hence I put my video as response to yours.Sometimes these softwares do bother us.
Very nice indeed!!! I have a small suggestion... "Sardoola" means tiger. "Nara Sardoola" means Tiger among Men! Keep up the good work
