  • Pff alot of stations are very close how can that be profit.

I can better walk to other station to save some bucks then take the subway seems bit pointless.

if the stations are over 500 meters ok.

But cars looks nice i like that.

  • They say it's an express... but it stops every 20 feet

  • @AmtrakKid1 only in the loop. once it leaves the loop its better.

  • @AmtrakKid1 the purple line goes along the red line up to evanston but doesn't make a fuck load of stop, it really is express no lie.

  • It's amazing that chicago had no real issues with development even though they kept its elevated lines. Unlike NYC which demolished many of the el lines serving Manhattan. True that those elevated lines were old and inherited when NYC purchased the privately owned Els.

  • After seeing this it makes me wonder how New York City would be if they didn't tear down the 2nd, 3rd, 6th, and 9th Avenue L trains in Manhattan.

    LOVED THE VIDEO.

  • I used to take this train quite a bit, because it got me to Howard before the red line did (even though it only appears at certain times). I miss Chicago so much. I'm coming home next year!

  • ...brings me back good memories. I miss you Chicago, greetings from Medellin Colombia...

  • thans for that. Enjoyed the ride. UK

  • I think it be a neat experiance to ride the el just once in my life
