i dont get it... how does one make a kit car and what distinguishes one? i mean i can tell on alot of these they arnt real ones of course but i mean the good ones what goes into making one? do u make the body or is is a car covered in pannels? i dont know :(

And some are based on cars with bodypanels attached.Fiero ,MR2.

ive been looking into ferrari kits and found that their either pure shit or there awsome but final cost would $50,000 to make it look like the real thing. you can buy a used ferrari for just a little more or a wrecked ferrari and fix it up. it would be less work and the same cash in the end and you have the real thing.
