@TheMarilyn1969monroe ~ ok...which translated means "the sand was hotter than hell, but the water was still freezing"......maybe a tad warmer, but not by much.....Oceanside gets warmer...but Santa Monica is still chilly...I love @1:39...@3:52 tells the truth though..water is COLD...we can feel it.
to Peter Sneyder, i am realy touched by tis ....i mean ive seen your Marilyn Monroe channel, i as a Marilyn Monroe fan, your absolutlely the best here on YouTube..I love your awesome work and so many rare Marilyn videos And i do belive Marilyn was killed.....she was to happy ! I have this book "" Marilyn in her own words "" By George Barris....
In no way was her death a suicide... I believe it was an unintentional murder... And I have a pretty good feeling the murder felt extremely guilty afterwards. Take my word for it, it was tragic and accidental.
@Bowie101Girl In her death bed Eunice Murray told to his son she felt guilty because she had given Marilyn the "fatal enema" that terrible afternoon. What she did not say is if dcotor Greenson or Engelberg ordered her to do that or if they were forced to do that by another person
i believe that she kept calling the white house which made jfk nervous; he had called it quits & was having trouble letting go of him. i believe jfk/the kennedys got rid of her because they were afraid of her ruining his image. there was a woman in houston who allegedly had an affair with jfk which produced a son. not long after she told him who his father was, her entire (huge) house literally was blown to smithereens. it's all been kept very hush hush; i think it's more than a coincidence.
I agree with all the positive comments on here regarding this video. I have been a fan of Marilyn Monroe since I was a teenager (am now in my thirties). These are some of the best photos (in my opinion) ever taken of Marilyn Monroe. And yes, she was thin. She had lost some weight towards the end of her life and was proud of her new thinner figure. She was only 117 lbs. when she died. Size 8 then, size 4 now. She was prefect and beautiful!
and Marilyn Monroe said this right before her "suicide".... how can a woman who has suicidal thoughts have such hopeful wishes for her future? she did not kill herself, the pills did... drugs kill. u must remember what happened to Michael Jackson. drugs kill.
@Vaniteez The problem is she shouldn't have been using them at all, but that was the hollywood system back then. They would work you to death, then you couldn't wake up on time, so they would give you stimulants to wake you up. Then the stimulants would keep you awake and you couldn't sleep at night, so they would give you sleeping pills for that. They hooked their stars on that prescribe medication and the stars trusted them because they were professionals. Poor Marilyn, Judy, and others.
Quase 50 anos após sua morte, Marilyn continua mais viva, mais admirada, mais idolatrada. É incrível, o mito nunca morre. Sua imagem será para sempre eterna.
maybe it's just me, but despite some smiling shots, I felt she looked so sad and remote. Perhaps because we know that not long after these photos, she was found dead (presumably suicide) but she looked so fragile and vulnerable in some of those pictures. I have read the notes on her autopsy which claimed she died from swallowing 50 sleeping pills, but there was no running water in her flat, and no trace of pills in her stomach or intestines
maybe it's just me, but despite some smiling shots, I felt she looked so sad and remote. I have read the notes on her autopsy which claimed she died from swallowing 50 sleeping pills, but there was no running water in her flat, and no trace of pills in her stomach or intestines..hmmm (not suicide, sorry)
Gosh, I didn't realise how thin she'd gotten towards the end...she truly was God's gift to man, such a tragedy that someone so surreal and breathtaking could have a tragic short life, wish I could've been around to save her....but then again, the world back then didn't really know what a legend she would become, its true "you don't know what you've got until it's gone".
She is Beautiful. When you get to be 50, you will lust for such a woman. I prefer her early brunette photos, with a smile that kills a man dead in his tracks
Few women have been as beloved by the camera as she. She just pulls you in. How she looks is just the gateway, gets your attention, but it is the look in her face that really has an impact. Joyce Carol Oates says that Marilyn's appeal was that every man who desired her saw his own version of sexual fulfillment in her eyes. I'd prefer to say that the Goddess smiled on her, bless her soul. Great vid.
Only a complete and utter idiot or worse would suggest Marilyn was fat, in that time, being a skinny bag of bones with a botoxed face was not in vogue - you had to be there, literally.
Actually George was known for his photography more so than his custom cars back in the day. Also it was georges brother Sam who was the builder. George was more the promoter.
I hate that Liz Hurley said I'd die if I was as fat as her, I mean C'MON she is not fat at all! She is thin yet curvy, which I think is far nicer than the anorexic look!!! I think Liz is jealous of her, because she's no icon, and also has NO talent. M.M forever <3
I always had the feeling that she committed suicide because she was losing her beauty with age and couldn't deal with not being Marilyn Monroe the biggest sex symbol in Hollywood. These photos sure killed that theory. And she looks happy here.
I love that music. Who is it ? Well depressing or haunting is more the word. Marilyn is definitley haunting,in a good way. Untimely death with no real closure is very haunting. There will always be the question why ? Scars and all she showed them she was real no implants. George Barris is my fave photographer of her. I also love Milton Greenes. The same beach she went to as a child...She is the ocean. Powerful, relaxing, seductive, and everyone loves the ocean. Thanks for posting.<3
