AS far as I'm concerned, JJ Grey is the finest vocalist in southern rock since at least Gregg Allman; a deep songwriter with the mystic beating heart of the South referenced in every song he writes,as if Van Morrison had been reincarnated into a knowing good ol' boy filled with both the spirit of the flesh and belief in our redemption. He's the Springsteen of the Southeast, but I happen to like JJ better---he's a better singer, and more soulful.

JJ grey and MOFRO rock, they are coming to Seattle in February and I can't wait. I have been wanting to see them live for a long time. They are done and dirty swamp blues with the great blue eyed soul on the ballads.....they do little wrong!

JJ and the boys are absolutely incredible. Not only is their music the most soulful southern funk i have ever heard, but their videos (especially "OB" and the video for "On Fire") are absolute genious. They are going straight to the top.
