  • I remember watching this exact performance. Was amazing, knew they would win the Mt. Zion Invitational after watching them.

  • This is super cool! I love stuff that is out of the ordinary like this. It's different, and it's tasteful! Great performance!

  • OH MY GOD!! i freakin love this! im in showchoir and never dreamed of doin Bollywood as theme!!! I cant believe yall did Doom!! i love that song! where are yall from? i wana go to ur school!!!

  • waubonsie valley in aurora IL

  • I think that the number one thing that any showchoir needs is energy. You could have the New York Philharmonic playing behind you but if the choir has no energy in their performance then they have nothing.

  • First of all this is called Showchoir, emphasis on the choir part. Mr. Mark Myers is a genius with people and singing. He is also an extremely talented arranger. A lot of credible sources in the industry as a whole have acknowledged him and WV of this. Look him up, you might learn something, LOL (at you)!! I have been following Choral programs as a whole since about '94 and have never seen a program take off as fast as this one ever!!!

  • They may be young, and ok there foot noise needs work and maybe their combo could be better, and yes they are filled with a boat load of energy, that is what makes them incredible. They also have oustanding sound and fabulous choreo...they are truley a "powerhouse" show choir and the amount of noise their feet make is not going to take that away from them

  • it pays off. this opener is so incredible. i like to compare the energy and talent to john burrough's earth song. the fact that it is a unique type of opener and done so well adds so much to your show. =)

  • There is always a bunch of foot noise at Mt. Zion, because the floors are mic'd. The mics are usually pretty hot too.

  • After watching this a few times...this is my favorite opener ever!!!!!!!

  • If only they had a high school student that could play a sitar, LOL!! Way to raise the bar Mr. Myers.

  • I love this opener so much it's really catchy...awesome job!!!

  • why would you say that???

  • i could see this being used as a closer more than an opener, but it's an interesting choice.

  • weird! it's really growing on me though, Dwight Jordan gave them some neat choreography.
