This is an excellent cardio workout but anybody wanting to learn kickboxing will not learn anything from this video!! Her form on the hook and uppercut punches was terrible and that kick at the end is not a roundhouse kick.
you guys are a bunch of tight asses, these instructors are not the best martial artist but they they know better on how to asses people and teach them kickboxing while having fun, you can't teach ufc level of discipline to many people who are working fulltime and just want to go to the gym to have a healthy body.
You may know the formations, but what about your gard? You would`ve dropped dead if you entered the ring. Your hands are waving to all sides, especially duing the leg-exercises. You should work on your leg-work - simplify it as much as possible.

You relax into a punch like elastic to create less impact on the body when taking a blow. I understand this is a workout, so lets keep it a workout and not add fighting tips in between unless you are a trained high level fighter. It is providing a disservice to uneducated viewers.

Before people say negative things about this woman, the need to learn the difference between Kickboxing and aerobic kickboxing. There's a reason why it's called aerobic kickboxing, it's not mean to be the normal kickboxing. Even people that have a 7th degree black belt teaches aerobic kickboxing. These people are experts in kickboxing. So people that don't know the difference between kickboxing and aerobic kickboxing be quiet.

OK guys, she is teaching CARDIO KICKBOXING. I'm a certified Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor and this is a form of aerobic exercise that many gyms use across the country. It IS NOT the same thing as a martial art. Have you ever heard of Turbo Jam? That is a nationally recognized certification that is very similar to this. These are not martial art moves, they are excellent aerobic exercises that are safe for people with no martial art experience

The work out is ok but HORRIBLE FORM. Even if it is a work out, wouldn't it be nice if she kept her block where it belongs? And I think she's punching her 12 year old because the person is obviously much shorter than her.
My kb class at the gym is getting a bit stale although still a good workout. This looks like a great video incorporating lots of moves in the same segment... love it!! Nice job! This is such an awesome stress reliever and a great sculpting work out!

Yikes, her form is terrible and anyone who tries to mimick her moves is in for some bad instruction. She's flailing way too much and her jabs and punches are out of control plus her free hand should be in front of her face and not off to the side.

Actually DO the exercise. She might be off with her form, but ignore the kickboxing aspect. As far as cardio workouts go, this will clearly burn off more calories and fat in 10 minutes than some workouts do in 40 minutes.
this is a good workout, your technique is better than most aerobics instructors i've met. and for all you who say this is not kickboxing. you are right, this is not kickboxing, this is a workout based on the principles of kickboxing. you want to learn to fight, submit to a real kickboxing gym. pretty kickass workout, keep it up!

@kaylawolfert Yea, i agree, sadly the people who make these videos though, are the parents of the people who do the bullying. The reason why people are so nasty these days is because this generation of parenthood is in the toilet. Park your kid in front of the television, get them fast food, and let them on the net un supervised. Everyone is so hateful because there is no disciplinary action, no remorse. I like this its a good guide to cardio kickboxing, Whats with thwe negative comments its a nice workout to do in your bedroom if you want a full on kickboxing course, then why dont you go to a personal trainer and get lessons r-tards. This doesnt use too much room its nice and gets the heart going.

her hooks are messed up.. i believe you would normally throw a hook after a jab (that what i do) and my hooks have alot more range to them, you gotta be really close to your opponent to use her hooks which can leed to a knee into ur ribs.

Well, i think that, if to do fitness for kick boxing might as well do it in the right way. Her hook is 1 BIG Round and her hand suppose to cover her face not her neck.. Her Jap Cross, shoulder suppose to go up to cover her neck.. The thing is.. if you do the right way.. you feel it more intense then go faster but with the wrong way. :)

@salmantino27 No dude, they are both the same. The difference between the Taekwondo one and the other ones is that in the Taekwondo you get the power by jumping with your left foot directly stike the kick by your right foot to lever or the face. In other martial arts (like Muay Thai) you have to step one step to the left front and kick by your right leg to your target.
The Taekwondo jump in the start gives you the power to reach the head. But the mauy thai you can hit to leg if you want.
Maybe it seems a bit funny when you look at it, but it´s suprisingly good training. A lot people who are laughing watching it would not last to the end, I think.

The reason why people are so nasty these days is because this generation of parenthood is in the toilet. Park your kid in front of the television, get them fast food, and let them on the net un supervised. Everyone is so hateful because there is no disciplinary action, no remorse. What we need is strict discipline and restrictions. Too much freedom, or no respect for it

I like this its a good guide to cardio kickboxing, Whats with thwe negative comments its a nice workout to do in your bedroom if you want a full on kickboxing course, then why dont you go to a personal trainer and get lessons r-tards. This doesnt use too much room its nice and gets the heart going.

her hooks are messed up.. i believe you would normally throw a hook after a jab (that what i do) and my hooks have alot more range to them, you gotta be really close to your opponent to use her hooks which can leed to a knee into ur ribs.

Well, i think that, if to do fitness for kick boxing might as well do it in the right way. Her hook is 1 BIG Round and her hand suppose to cover her face not her neck.. Her Jap Cross, shoulder suppose to go up to cover her neck.. The thing is.. if you do the right way.. you feel it more intense then go faster but with the wrong way. :)

it is a Round Kick (from taekwondo) not a Round House ...to do a round house you throw your whole body

@salmantino27 No dude, they are both the same. The difference between the Taekwondo one and the other ones is that in the Taekwondo you get the power by jumping with your left foot directly stike the kick by your right foot to lever or the face. In other martial arts (like Muay Thai) you have to step one step to the left front and kick by your right leg to your target.
The Taekwondo jump in the start gives you the power to reach the head. But the mauy thai you can hit to leg if you want.
