hey tell your buddy with the outlaw to throw a alba racing 570 big bore kit with 12:5:1 compression a mild cam and 15 tooth sprocket on his outlaw than line them back up
have a raptor 700, outlaw 525 irs, kfx 700, and a ds650 baja. the outlaw beats em all in a straight line hands down. They're all fast bikes no doubt but the 525 just eats em.
I'd still rather have the 450 in that vid rather than the orange kfx. the 450 seems like you could handle it better cuz of the size of it plus its a 5 speed.
The wheelie bar is kind of gay rleojeda. 2-3 length out of the hole, is an unnecessary advantage when your bike is clearly faster anyway. Fit that 525 with a wheelie bar and your dead even I bet. Learn to feather the throttle and clutch, you'll get more respect. Nice bike though, what are ice screws?
That 525 was pretty low, is IRS and struted, he didn't need a wheelie bar at all. Ice screws are screws on your tires for better traction. He's a friend of mine and we have raced plenty of times, wheelie bar or not, he hasn't beat me yet.
rleojeda, have you ever rode a 525? that thing would rape that KFX 800 if it had a wheelie bar. The 800 hits the throttle to 100% and keeps it there... That would get to become so boring after awhile. I dunno how somone could stand it. My outlaw525IRS's front end comes up easier than my Raptor686 EVER did. Though it's more controlable with feathering than the 686 was.
EDIT, my bad I meant the 715... didnt think anyone would ever put a wheelie bar on an almost stock quad ROFL!... But that Outlaw525 struggles to keep 1st and 2nd down ( has to keep letting off ) unless he is launching in 2nd like he should be, then he is struggling with keeping 2nd and 3rd down.
My 715 has 62WHP, comparte to a stock 700 which normally put down between 30-33whp. That outlaw didn't need a wheelie bar, it was lowered and strutted, no need to make up excuses for my buddy. He never let off, it was a clean pass. Look up my other videos where he (525) rapes almost every single bike he races (raptor 700's, all 450's, etc...), but he got nothing for thr 715, PERIOD!!! He knows the 715 rules!!!
my banshee trinity 525 would take it

SparksRacing450 2 years ago
You mean the kfx that was winning? If so that's the 715 and it had a megaphone can on it...loud as hell.
rleojeda 2 years ago
yeah. its an annoying loud. like a TC Shorty.
SparksRacing450 2 years ago
hey that is cool how the outlaw held it's own...well kinda. but 715's are crazy.

That's why I also got 2 450's, a kfx450r and a yfz.

how do you like your yfz?
guy2202 3 years ago
I love it. It is a well rounded atv, very good for everything.
rleojeda 3 years ago

guy2202 3 years ago
did taht outlaw just keep falling away
THESNAKE8 3 years ago
Yes Sir. But it does run pretty good though. He was killing all the 450's and 700r's that raced him that day.

Looks Like The Outlaw 525 Gave You Some Comp :P

About 4 lenghts behind at the 600' mark.

if the 715 didnt have the wheelie bar the race w/ the outlaw would have been closer or dead even.

tgidd23 3 years ago
No it did not, you weren't there I was. The yfz on his defend only had 3 mods. The green kfx has a 800 kit in it.
rleojeda 3 years ago
I agree that wheelie bar gives you a HUGE advantage. you can just gun it with no worries of a wheelie.
tgidd23 3 years ago
Well the yfz didn't even beat the green one without a wheelie bar.

That wheelie bar helps out alot.
