i doubt all of us who say we are hatfields are really hatfields. I'm a Hatfield, my grandfather was William Hatfield, his dad was Estelle (i believe that was his name) and his dad was Devil Anse.

Devil Anse is my 4th great uncle on my mothers' side , his wife is my mothers' mothers' mothers' sister and Rand'l Mccoy is my 4th great uncle on my fathers side. it is very interesting to continue to learn about the feud. my family really didn't talk about it much but when my great-grandmother was still alive she would tell us stories that she was told. she was a Hatfield baby and she passed when she was almost a hundred.
