  • is it weird that i feel sorry for her father?

  • @LadyGaia101 I don't think so, I feel bad for him too though i love his daughter and Aragon together.

  • @LadyGaia101 no, i feel sorry for him too. It must be really painful knowing that her daughter was gonna die someday and he had nothing he could do about it cos she had made her choice.

  • So very pretty!!! Well done. Hurt my heart. Which I suppose, is what it's supposed to do, lol

  • In reality when Aragorn really does die, he and Arwen are only one year apart, before she dies too.

  • awesome video ! love it ! 5/5

  • I love this song!

  • wtf aragorn talking in german? w

  • just so you know, Elrond leaves for Valimar with the other ring bearers at the end of LoTR and does not return. At this time Aragorn is definitely still alive, therefore Arwen would not even have her father for comfort if Aragorn were to die before her. all the same it's a beautifully made video! And the song is so heartbraking!

  • es ist doch klar, das Deutsch ist die Sprache der Liebe

  • This was very moving. It shows such emotion and heartache. Angiecosie, good luck with your series. From one writer to another, your series sounds very interesting.

Anyway ImmortalArwen, thanks for posting this.

  • Aragorn didn't die. In the movie he nearly got crushed by a troll, but he didn't die. Aragorn went on to become king of Gondor.

  • look around, everyone else is making up thier own stories and stuff and mixing the lord of the rings with other movie parts and making creative videos. So did Immortal Arwen.

  • this concept was actually a goal of JRRT. At least I have heard that he wanted people to be able to interweave their own stories using his work as a backdrop or starting point.

  • I am writing an awsome series of my own with a new made language as well. It has taken already a year and a 1/2. I am almost done with one of the novels and I have 1/3 of the new language done.

  • well keep working on it . sounds cool

  • that's interesting

    what is your novel about?

  • ya buttt he dies later on .

  • @horsecrazyalexis No shit? I'm quite sure this is a 'what if' video, although it was shown in the movie how Arwen's life would become after Aragon's passing.

  • @horsecrazyalexis

You should read the book. She dies, and it's visiable in the movie only like preminition in part 2. If made a happy end, but I'm sad it's not her faith at the end, because it's the most sad and hard. Yes, she marryed Aragorn, had children and happy life with him, longer then ordinary human. But he eventually

dies and since she was imortal she gets to live long after and see everything she loves fade away. At the end she's wander lonely trough waste dead land of Lottlorien

  • @jasamrekojasamrekoja I never said anything about Arwen dying. All I did was point out that Aragorn is not really killed by the troll in the RotK. Arwen is not shown dying in the movies, not even in the vision scene. She is shown grieving over the vision of Aragorn's death and her own future after his death.

I have read the book. I have read all three books of the LotR. However, I thank you for your comment. It is a much nicer reply than many other replies I have recieved.

  • @horsecrazyalexis ...but he died years later cause he IS mortal. and later when Arwen went back she relized all her elves went on the ships so she died in the forest...of a broken heart..

  • The reason? It is much more comfortable to hear than to read. Simple-minded enough - even for you my friend :)

Anyway. Sometimes i view movies in english. Sometimes in german. Depends on my mod.

  • BUT the truth is: The synchronized version of LOTRO is way beyond the original version. Aragorns speech "Men of the west" sounds much more epic in german than in english.

Be aware, the people who synchronize are pro's. It is their profession to hit exactly the situation and the mod. Therefore pronounciation and intonation are often way beyond the origin voices.

  • Germans always synchronize movies, for some retarded reason they can't just subtitle them... Don't ask me why -.-

  • it is much more comfortable to hear than to read..i dont want to read all the time ... you can not see the movie.. because it is toooooo much to read! XD

(i am german so sorry my englisch is BAD!!! )

  • Hahaha, I hate synchronized movies XD But the Westerns that are synchronized to German are the worst... "Handen hoch" ?XD Anyone?XD

  • XD you mean... Hände hoch ?? its cool^^ but i have to admit... i do not see any westerns...^^

  • Oh come on, a german cowboy?XD

  • pathetic excuse... i am romanian, we do less english than you germans, and I still watch the movies in english. It takes away the charm if you syncronize them... I mean, Tolkien himself intended the common language to be english .

  • Well, Tolkien and Peter Jacksons theirselves sad, that German fits much more for the epic language of LotR how it should be. So, think of other synchronized versions how you want, but the German version is probably much better than the original.(=

  • well, actually, the true epic language is English, to me at least, and I speak a bit of Deutsch and French + my mother tongue

  • hell, NO!

  • who the hell sincronized LOTR?! i really hate when people do that. they ruin the film and diminish any chance of people learning more than one language. diversity is beautiful. why sincronize it? geesh.

like the german Nanny Fine. rediculous!

  • I know. I am from Germany and it makes me sick hearing synchronized versions loosing all esprit and grace... :-/

  • I am from Croatia and up until now, we had no problems. but lately more and more cartoons are being synchronized...

They really need to stop. i love hearing the original language of a film. plus i know a lot of people who learned english from disney cartoons and spanish from the soap operas on tv.

  • Not everybody can speak another language.

and to truly learn another language takes ages, because you have to understand the culture behind it.

  • I love watching foreign films in hope that i could pick up at least a little bit of their culture. And the actors put so much effort in their roles it would be a shame to steal their voices and throw them away, replacing them just so someone can understand "better". the emotions are gone. plus, that is what SUBTITLES are for!

  • Ich finds auch total schön

    <3 einfach bezaubernd =( <33

  • Good video didnt like the german though.

  • Ich liebe Herr der Ringe!!

  • Aragorn doesn't die in the battle before the gate. Their real story is much more dramatic, why change it?

  • wow this singer has an amazing voice

  • Muy buen trabajo, de más decir la perfecta combinación de la voz de Sharon den Adel (Within temptation)con ESDLA. la canción es The Swan Song ♫☼♪

  • Where did you get the scene from 2:03-2:05? and what are they saying?

  • I think it is on the extended version of the movies...

  • What the hec are they saying?

  • it's german

  • gänsehaut...

    wunderschön

du schuldest mir taschentücher *schief lächel*

  • Very nice video but the German voices, though good, simply cannot compare to the originals.

  • Great job on the vidio, but LOTR in german... Well, not my thing :P Cheers anyway

  • Very nice...

  • omg! awesome job!

could u please tell me what u made her say, i can't uncerstand it...0.0

and that scene at 2;03 when she hugs elrond, what is it, i've never seen it before...?

  • he said to her that he would go with her till the end and that she must go on.

The scene is from an trailer, the scene never were in movie.

  • Beautiful ..thank u

  • what song is this?

    who sings it?

its a truly beautiful song and video! x

  • The song is Swansong by within temptation.

  • The flow of the story is great!!! It made feel like crying when I watched it... although I just couldn't understand what Aragorn and Arwen said...

  • Aragorn didn't died in this fight, I think so

  • Chique!

  • wiedermal echt klasse. mir gehen langsam die Komplimente aus.^^

  • AMAZING song and vid...

  • With which creator of video you have used for this video? But nice video!

  • ulead video studio

  • Whoever made this use Sony Vegas Movie Studio 6 like I did...Works amazingly. CRAP! THEY GOT A HOLD OF THE DELETED SCENE W/ARWEN AND ELROND! If ANYONE could get me that clip or any other deleted scenes, let me know!!

  • Whoever created this did a brillant job! (Anyone who enjoys my videos knows I use Within Temptation 24/7...I didn't think to use this song...beautiful!)

  • i made it by myself, and thanks for you comment

  • wow, amazing job, you have really got some talent! Where on earth did you get that deleted footage?

  • what did you mean? the deleted szene is from the trailer, if you mean the scene with arwen and elrond

  • yes, the trailer? darn, I don't know where to get that shot, can I download the trailer somewhere?

  • I've seen this on someone else's page as well.

  • on whiches side, because this is made by me and i did not looked by anyone others

  • Oh sorry my mistake. There were about three videos called The Swan Song or something, and they were all Lord of the Rings and had similar thumbnails, so I thought that it was just a popular video.

  • ok i thinked someone had copied my
