k ppl in the begining ur not a jedi u r just force sensetive and ur able to use the force but u dont actualy know that once u save bastila she tells u that ur force sensative then u find a ship get off taris (the planet u land on once u get off the endar spire) the tari gets destroyed by malak then u fly to someother planet and u take jedi training and create ur first lightsaber and u learn force powers

you start the game by choosing your class... you can't change it unless you start a new game.... ROFL XD
