@thedeeperthings being recognizable doesn't necessarily mean being good. Being good doesn't necessarily mean that you have to like it either, or if you like it, it doesn't really mean it's good. Technically, Kiedis' voice lacks range, deepness and expression, and that's what pretty much means "never had a good voice". Frusciante's is way more trained, for instance, and no way was he gifted with a natural good voice.

I'm not a person of change. Of course, the guitarists in the band changed a lot of times, but John has been with the band for around 15 years, more or less. With the exception of the Federation Square Jam in Melbourne where he's on keyboard/synth I'm not aware of a time when Josh is playing with his own artistic style as a member of the Red Hot Chili Peppers (unless you include The Insects) as all the other times he's essentially Frusciante's back up/rhythm guitarist. Will he be different from Dot Hacker the way John is on his solo albums
