@Teo97b Expand the description under the video to find the coordinates for everything. Most of the satellite pictures in Google Earth have been updated, and the planes are gone now. But, you can still use Google Earth's time slider to go back and see the older pictures.

@TheSoloPilot The plane in front is a Boeing KC-135 Stratotanker (136 feet long). The plane behind it, and being refueled in midair, is a Lockheed C-5 Galaxy (247 feet long). You can see them at coordinates 41°51'7.14"N, 121°28'46.87"W.

@florentlondon Yeah, the plane in front is a refueling tanker. It's a Boeing KC-135 Stratotanker and is 136 feet long. But, the plane being refueled behind it is a very large cargo plane. It's a Lockheed C-5 Galaxy and is 247 feet long. So, it might look closer, but it is flying slightly lower than the tanker. Check it out at 41°51'7.14"N, 121°28'46.87"W. Expand the description under the vid for details on everything.

Yeah, SteveCessna152. The coords are right, but Google Earth has been updated.They've solved the problem with moving things disappearing when GE gets updated. You can use the Time Slider feature to go back in time and make the older images reappear. At the top, click on the icon that looks like a clock. A slider will appear. Moving it back and forth will change Google Earth to older and newer views. The planes are at Oct 6, 2004.

Yeah, ddboris. Africa has a lot of high-res. But only in small areas. To find them in Google Earth, look under Layers / Gallery / National Geographic Magazine. Put a check next to Africa Megaflyover and look for the red icons. Two of my other vids use this: "Critters" and "Critters 2".

Hey, thesupermagnum100. Hmm. You should be able to zoom by just pressing the + key. And to zoom with your mouse, click on the + symbol in the Navigator, which is on the right. If the Navigator isn't showing, click on View / Show Navigator.

Yeah, funkabby1. Google Earth updates in small areas at a time, moving around to different places. They say they get around to updating everything about every 3 years. But, to see the updates you must click on Help, and then on Check for Updates Online. And then, you can still go back in time and make the older images reappear. At the top, click on the icon that looks like a clock. A slider will appear. Moving it back and forth will change Google Earth to older and newer views.

Yeah, haloruler170. If you turn on the Time Slider (it's the icon at the top that looks like a clock) you can slide it back and forth to any previous satellite photo. The dates that are available will be different for each place.

Hmm, not sure. The date and time of the satellite pictures in Google Earth are random. Once they take a picture of a place and use it in Google Earth, it could be several years before they update it again for that same place. The Time Slider will just tell you what date you happen to be looking at.

Hmmm, tango9eco9sero0tango I don't know. The G21A wingspan is 49 ft with a single hull for flotation and two wing engines. The sea plane here is about 36 ft., has two pontoon wakes, and a single engine.

Good news, tango9eco9sero0tango. Not the one taking off, but look about 500 ft to the southwest for the Grumman Goose. In Google Earth go to 61°10'44.29"N, 149°58'21.31"W. You'll notice the plane in the vid is gone now. But you can still use the Time Slider button at the top of Google Earth to go back in time and bring it back. And it looks like they move the Grumman around from time to time.

Hey, Gigi086. Yes and no. The Nimitz is in the Indian Ocean right now. You can check their web page by searching for 'nimitz website'. But, GE did catch it docked at San Diego a while ago. Go to 32°42'47.62"N, 117°11'22.62"W. Then use the Time Slider button at the top to go back to older images to see when it was there.
