  • i love this song i even know the dance

  • this sounds so much like a song I sing at church.

  • @mickeymousepokaspot3 it's probably the Lord of the Dance; that was a famous adaptation of the song.

  • @inMidsummer102 yep thats the one

  • we are doing this for our school concert and i know all the words

  • bluelavender

  • why does this always start muted?

  • "shaker, traditional" in the upper right of the sheet is not correct: it is indeed a shaker hymn but it has been written in 1848 by Joseph Bracket Jr. a Shaker Elder.

And the original score is in G not C

  • @ghostdog7575 I meant " in G not in F

  • For trumpet?

  • Sounds like chorale and shaker. XD

    There's a UK version?

The song is an American classic, I dunno why it would be different in the UK than over here.

  • that's why Weezer's song is called "Greatest man that ever lived (VARIATIONS ON A SHAKER HYMN)."

  • i have 2 sing this 4 chior

  • Can you just send me the lyrics for this by youtube mail?? Thanks!

  • I sure can, I am singing this in school. I will message the lyrics to you.

  • Thanks for the sheet music. =D

  • Simple Gifts slowed down is very beautiful, but just because a song has the same title does not mean it is the exact same piece. Nearly every song has different versions by one or more composers called Arrangments.
