Hi I have a question. I'm going to get a regular Panasonic camcorder, it doesn't have night vision, but will this flashlight still help me see in the dark with it?
Great Video mate!!! I have a couple of quesions, i use these same flashlights outside & my batteries go down fast on them & i lose distance on night vision fast, not as bad indoors, but outside it's more imp;ortant!! I'm using 1000mah batteries, do you have this same problem? What power batteries are you using & do your go down fast too??
@ghosthunternumberone Yes I too have the same problem with these lights. They do eat batteries also the aluminum housing tends to get rather hot over time. But again for the price you can't beat them. They do work great though with Sony cameras with NIGHTSHOT!
@GhostHuntrsOfSoTampa So do you just keep changing the batteries or do you have loads pre loaded with freshly charged batteries on hand?? Are you using one of those £700 Sony HD SD card Camcorders?? Thta's how much they are over here & i'm not paying that price! I'm using a camcorder i modified to see infrared light at the minute!!
@hypo383 Yes hypo383 The apartment I lived in that time was built in 1918 and was well known in my town as being haunted. I have lived there 2 times and both times I experienced the Ghosts. One of which I think followed me to my new place in July. If the "ORB" is proof of spirit remains to be known... but there does seem to be some connection!
i have been looking for a flashlight like this for my camcorder. i only see the 3 in 1 flashlight on ebay. do u remember what seller it was? thanks in advance.
yes i see the light from the remote, but not enough to see even 2-3 mm from the wall or anything. and what did you way about a filter? what filter did you make? :)
sorry i live in Romania and we don't have hobby shops where you can buy all these stuff, and e-bay shipping is pretty expensive :)

i just wanna buy a flip-cam with a night mode i think but no IR vision, it is really cheap and it films 720p. i thought i buy from e-bay some 36 IR led's, it says up to 35 meters, i want it just for indoor night films. can you point me to e-bay at those lanterns?
i asked the question because i saw that your camera had IR in it, and i thought it had t have that mode :)

@feryxxx Your type of camera may already be able to pick up IR light. Easiest way to find out is take a tv remote point it at your cam and see if you can see the light it emits on the viewfinder. If so you can purchase filters that will help. Also you can make/mod one yourself using old processed film negatives.
@feryxxx YES this does work!! I have a small HD camera that i made a filter for this way and it works great! Depending on your IR light source. With the one I made you can see about 3-5 feet in total darkness with these lil flashlights. Hope this helps. I may in the future post a demo video of my lil HD cam with the Ir filter I made.
my house is quit old to we are the first people to live here but tere is paranormal activity ive just recantly heard every night somone walking up and down the stairs and im the only one
No the light is not visible when on.... you can tell the light is working because the LEDs wil have a faint red glow. As far as for use with the EyeClops v2 as the range goes I'm not to sure.. but will increase the overall illumination. Hope this helps.

I was wondering how those ebay lights would work. Thanks.
beke6874 2 years ago
For the price they work great....but the downside is they do go through some batteries!!!
Always make sure when investigating you turn them off as you will see no light... just the faint redish glow of the LEDs.
GhostHuntrsOfSoTampa 2 years ago
is the ir flashlight visible when its on? would it be possible to use it to increase the range of eye clops v2 night vision?

Who on ebay did you purchase these from?
darker3than3black 2 years ago
Honestly there are a lot of sellers with these on ebay. Do a search for IR Flashlight.
These are awesome...they work great.
They do tend to get a little warm though other then that....great light!
