I hate mine- It doesn't hold a charge. I charge it and go to pick it up and its dead. It often wont turn on and off and it's zooming sucks and doesn't hold more than an hour, not to mention it's hard to get time back on it

Well, it depends. neither the mino, and ultra are better than each other, it just matters if you have a PC, or Mac. If you have a PC get a flip ultra. If you have Mac, then get a flip mino. hope that helped! :)

actually i own the flip mino HD and love it. Of course its HD and you get a quite noticable difference in the clearity of the video but still both very awsome quality portable cameras

5 hours?! dude,your internet is slow as hell then.I upload HD files to youtube,and it only takes 2-10 minutes.Run your videos threw Windows Movie Maker and convert it to WMV file.

the software allows you to take pictures from the video. It's kinda like if you were to pause a video then take what you see and turn it into a picture. Atleast that's what i understand of it.

I think it has to do with the size of the file. If you compress the video file from like 120 mb to 30 before you upload it, you can't get it in high res. If you only compress it to like 99 you can , cus there's not much loss in quality that way.

Hey bro, I just bought the Flip Mino and read your review on Wired, I saw that you use a Mac too, how did you get the video uploaded to your MacBook and still have audio? When I upload the video to the Flip Software, the video goes silent. Hope you can help. :)

What OS are you using? If it's not 10.5 then you may need a plug-in to make it work.

Turns out I did need a plug-in. I'm on Tiger, I called Flip Support and they let me know what to download. A free program called Perian 1.1, now it all works perfectly. Thanks for replying so quickly though!
