i need to make or get something so i can have a tank of air say 120psi and then sum type of valve so i can have multiple shots so i can make a semi aoutomatic airgun any ideas thx
@pyronathanpyro The above valve could be used for a semi automatic at 120 psi. A balanced spool valve could do the trick as well. Pneumatically actuated valves work too, but you will lose air through the pilot, which will reduce the number of shots you get from a tank.
@theairgunman okay thx ive been waching ur videos and im going to try develope a pop off valve that opens at say 40 psi then obv closes with a spring and piston and it will be made as well as a can i have a air compressoor made from a fridge motor it is verry powerfull and can charge stuff up to and past 120psi i just need a gauge that goes bigger than 120 and i need some kind of air sorage tank any ideas thx
@theairgunman im sat working on a few ideas now for these im thinging of making a hammer valve like the ones in airaoft guns so i can pump a tank up or use some co2 tank :) and hopefully build a custom air gun and for full auto well thats later lol
@theairgunman i been looking up some stuff and i just saw a big frig off obvious thing i could use get an empty mini fire extingisher and use that take the handle off and build a bolt to hit where the handle will be and add a pipe fitting where the cone would be on the extingisher :)
you will need large hammer with strong spring my push button valve have almost the same surface area each side .and with 40 bars every 1/10 of mm count
so this almost 2.5 cm and high pressure you will need 1/5 kilogram hammer : )
It's actually a 3/4" valve. You're right about the high pressure, it would get extremely hard to open. I'm only planning to use it no more than 250 psi. The valve body is rated at 200 psi, so I'm going a bit over. :)BTW, I like your push button valve. Does it use dual floating orings?
It works quite well at that pressure using the wrench handle as the hammer. However to reduce complexity, I'm going to use a dual ball valve setup for the dart gun.
nice work , co2 guns use a simaler set up , a spring loaded ram is used tofire the valve. im shure u no this , maybe u could disasemble an old air rifel and use the spring ram in it, have u ever herd of a QEV valve if not u gota chech it out
Sounds like you know where I'm going with this one. :) Check out the airforce talon airguns, I plan to turn this into something similar. I've heard of QEVs, I'm planning on ordering one from mcmasters sometime in the future.
cool ,i always wonderd if one could tare down a paint ball gun or an air rifle and use its compnents, also the naoh gas generater i told u i was testing , so far it appears that lithium batteries are my only hope. any way nice build , i hope to post a vid soon of a numatic stapler im gonna retro fit a barral to , it wont be easy i dont
i thought this was the valve hammer editor XD

good work bro
this 1/2" check valve is awesome .
but you cant use it with high pressure
you will need large hammer with strong spring my push button valve have almost the same surface area each side .and with 40 bars every 1/10 of mm count

yes and no
just one side have a floating O ring and the other side also have o ring ,but it seals against the washer .
MrAirshot 2 years ago
250 psi is also too high for that surface area
anyway try at this pressure and tell me what happen

Great video.
What does the check valve cost?
Boyntonstu 2 years ago
The valve itself cost $11.72 + a couple more dollars to build a new valve stem and seal.
