Yes, because Private Sector experience is all that matters. Give me a break. The Presidency is far more expansive than what running this or that company might give you in terms of experience. It is a job about judgment, intelligence, and insight. Obama may not be the best President so far, but at least he has those three traits, which is far more than we could say for Bush.

I can't give Bush an A+, that's certainly true. He wasn't the president we thought he would be, but I CAN and WILL give Obama a big fat "F." If 61% of the entire U.S. population oppose the bill, how can the legislative branch (in and of their own integrity) pass a bill that know and are absolutely sure, the American people do not want passed. How can they? It's unbecoming of our elected leaders to do so. The question then becomes, "Why would they pass it, given the information shown before them?" and that is the question, I cannot answer. That's the problem. Why do they do this?

We are a democratic republic where we are represented by Congress, elected by the people. In a democratic republic those representatives vote on the laws not the popular vote of the people. Also in our government the President of the executive branch, does not pass legislature (bills), that power lies with the legislature or Congress.

@cagedtigersteve exsactly.. he is getting blamed for a lot of things hehas very little if any control over. He cant put a gun to their heads and make them do anything. All sides are on the corporate pay role and with out term limits this will NEVER change and the general public will always get the short end of the stick no matter who you put into office. No one is going to stick their neck out for the public anyway with its fickle voter turn out.
