  • STUPENDO?

    STUPENDO?

    That name is so Stupid!

  • I always enjoy when people does things like this. This console Rocks!

  • it looks like a painted wiiu controlller

  • Great job, emulators can do that but you can with hardware.

  • why not just get a psp with custom firmware? that looks like an alarm clock .I do think this really cool but their are much easier ways of play snes on the go

  • I like it. If I had to complain it would be about the cartridge and the way it's situated, but since it was just for fun I think you did a great job!

  • wow, and u made this. this should be in stores. i know i would buy it

  • When you playing a game, people can steal you game. :)

  • Awesome, but the cartridge slot is just stupid.

  • ever heard of a gameboy? -_- *facepalm*

  • @21811441514314159265 ever heard of go fuck yourself?

  • @21811441514314159265

Gameboys Do NOT Play Snes or NES games in the way these portables do.

These portables use the original cartridge, Have the original Content, And Dont lose audio or video quality due to Gameboy limitations. Some models even allow for Input to TV and for Second Player. Take you're "Ever heard of a gameboy" Comment outta here >.>

  • That looks very uncomfortable.

    lol

    nice one man

  • Is for sale??

  • well ill just stick with the fc 16 go handheld snes for only 60

  • SOLD!!!

  • Stupendo does what Nomad don't, apparently. (I'm assuming the battery life doesn't blow ass...)

  • awesome :( i am not able to build something like that. thumbs up

  • lmfao. 'Nintendo Stupendo' it is nice doe

  • You'd better hope nintendo doesnt find out about that. lol Cool video

  • Why ?

  • hey look guy this idea is great i liked to buy you one

  • It doesn't seem very ergonomic, especially those shoulder buttons. This may be portable, but it doesn't seem practical. But you know what? I like it.

  • i tried that with a ps1 and shocked the piss out of myself.

  • lol..

the name of the gadget "ninetendo stupendo" drives me crazy..

    haha

  • how much will it cost for you to make me one?

  • turtles in time was one of my favorite games ever

  • this is cool...

or for the cheap price of free.99 u can download the emulator and play on ur laptop.

  • ummm thats not the point. the point is to be able to play your original carts on the go, and having fun building them.

emulators suck compared to the real thing

  • Think you could make me one eh?

  • haha nice man

  • Player 2 port?! Damn dude. Legit.

  • nice.

  • i want one any type of portable super nintendo as long i get one and i do miss that game

  • you're the best man :P

  • Ninja turtles was one of my favorite games for the snes. :o

  • WOW ! I really admire you modders ! Keep on being that creative.. :)

  • awesome

  • I WANT ONE. GIMME GIMME.

  • lol i have 2 tutles IV COWABUNGA!

  • nice

  • no offense dude, but ur earlier work kinda sucked

  • how do you when the battery dies?

  • i wan one

  • wow. nice nes because nintendo has all bunch of shit game consoles.

  • Muito bom!

  • i heart you

  • just in case the nintendo can emulate the snes games XD

  • What did RadioShack do for the shoulder buttons?

  • I purchased the buttons from RadioShack.

  • @joedog86 can you play doom?

  • Very impressive. Although I think the cartridge sticking out of the back would be inconvenient, I probably couldn't do better though :P

  • I would.

  • Me 2

  • its really not about a portable super nintendo, its just the fact that he made it...

  • that is a proper nice job mate

  • it should be supendo, Stupendo would be insulting the thing i think. any way cool

  • The word is "stupendous"... i.e. not insulting.

  • thats so cool

    i miss that Game

i used to have it on Sega Gen

  • Thats sweet! I like how you used all of the of NES stuff.

  • the game pak in the back is what ruined it for me..other than that, amazing!

  • it looks abit stupendo but playing snes games on the go in all it,s glory would be awesome.

especially backthem in the late 90,S

  • I really do miss that game but I had to sell my SNES. I can only hope the port their doing is as good and doesn't ruin it.

  • hey, did u make that with Ben Heck's book? u mentioned his website so I'm guesssing... but u made ur case look better than the one in the book xD.

  • I took a lot of ideas from the book, and gave it my own spin. For example, I added a second player jack which Ben doesn't cover in his book.

  • would a second player jack be hard to do in say a portable ps1?

  • No, not hard at all. I'd say it's about equal to rewiring an SNES controller jack, which isn't difficult.

  • cool, did u get alot of help from the ben heck forums? or was it from somewhere else too, or did u just know this stuff xD. I wanted to know because I want to make a portable ps2 and there isn't much on the Ben Heck forums about making portable ps2's.

  • You really need a GP2x.

  • GP2X's are awesome. I agree.

  • The best part is making your own games, or hacking them, like I do.

  • the white one looks better

  • that games like streets of rage

  • stupendo

  • you khow how to make xbox360 portable

  • THAT, would be really hard and you fuck up a lot and say bye bye to 300$+

you know theres a reason why the xbox 360 is that kind of size ;)

  • Its name should be Nintendo Super Stupidendo

  • very good! but the "game card" isn't in a good position

  • cool awsom

  • It's impressive that you made that. But that thing is still huge!

  • NINJA TURTLES RULE !!!

  • hey whats the case made of the snes or what

  • this is awsom

  • Isnt GBA the same as snes?

  • No. GBA is a 32-Bit console, SNES is a 16-Bit console. GBA also only has the A and B buttons, whereas SNES had A, B, X, and Y buttons. But there was a lot of SNES and Genesis ports on GBA.

  • LOL kids these days...

  • god thats my fave game ..untill my brother broke the damn thing in have then thru the chip out

  • your new ones so better

  • omg I had this game for sega..... good times...

  • how did you get the round scrows out of the bottom

  • I like your white model better but good job

  • cool, a port for player 2^^

  • wow u are soooooo smart man but can u tell me how long it took u to make the portable snes

  • playing earthbound on that thing = win.

  • Is it for sale?

  • This particular one cost around $150 in parts alone.

  • Estupendo!!! 5/5

  • Name your price.

  • I love the idea, but carrying that to the streets (especially, with a cartridge sticking out in the back) it might be kind of a hassle. I would like to have one, though.

  • you gotta be shittin' me. do that with a 360.

  • THATS COOL it would be useful for old games like super nes metroid

  • ajaaj en español es Estupendo- XD

  • pimp my snes

  • wow....that's way raw dude. :)

  • This is pretty funny compared to your new stuff :D Still want it though.

  • Awesome!

  • looks like its expansive to make! also what if the cartridges have a hard time playing...cause you all know snes is super old! if you guys want to play those classics on something..go get urself a small compact laptop and dl an snes emulator and roms for your pleasure! but i gotta say thats cool how u made it....and cant nintendo ds play snes roms? ehhh.....think about it

  • is for the fun of playing the old games

  • now that extremely awesome..

  • that came is so pimp

  • It's really cool but,did you have to call it Stupendo? It's actually funny because it sounds like your saying it's stupid.

  • Stupendous means amazing or superb.

    For fuck sake.

  • Whoops! I probably need a dictionary then! Thanks correcting me.

  • Np, sorry for overreacting. I'm a bit of a pedant. :(

  • That's alright :) Thanks for corret

  • That's alright :) Thanks for correcting me anyway.

  • Stupendo is a good name ,its closer to stupendous which means amazing or superb like patsy02 said. Sorry! It is really astonishing what you made though!

  • reminds me of golden axe

  • How can I make one???

  • 1:09 sounds like kermit the frog...

  • It's not easy being green :)

  • thats true !lol

  • looks kinda big..

  • hey where can i get one!

  • Badass. That is incredibly cool.

  • hot that was hot so u created your own system pretty much thats hot as hell

  • I LOVE THAT GAME!!!!!

  • thats awesome

  • did you make that?

  • It would bee more efitiont to put the game insert part at the top or bottom like on the original gameboy or gameboy advance.

  • the only problem i have with it is one day for some accidental reason your gonna whack the cartridge and bend the pins or damage the port

  • this is just awesome!

  • Oh man I have always wanted to build my own portable console but I have never known where to start.

  • Very good. Does it have a headphone jack?

  • Yes, and a video out jack as well.

  • thats incredible
