  • David Ruiz is a great instructor. I was able to take a few classes at his academy when I still lived in Colorado. This was before I began training seriously. He was very professional and incredibly detailed. This was back in 2007. I currently train in Carlsbad, CA, but I've been meaning to visit Denver one of these days to visit his school again.
