  • Autotune equals gay!

  • @dererstemann thx

  • this mic comes with autotune?

  • @VisualK3i94 if you are interested in this mics capabilities, a better video has been posted on my channel that showcases its potentialities.

  • @VisualK3i94 oops, last comment was sent from my other account. The video is on this channel, not the hellorevolution one.

  • Luis Suarez?

  • When you said crumble at 00:38 the pop filter didnt block it so does the blue bird have a good pop filter that comes with it

  • @xman44646 The pop filter on this mic should be be called a spit filter. It keeps the spit and breath moisture from the interior of the mic, but it doesn't block out all of the air. I highly recommend a separate pop filter.

  • What software are you using to edit this?

  • this is nice i like it

  • im thinking of purchasing this mic i have mxl 990 and im not getting the sound im looking for .....is this really worth the dollar?

  • @ooCRISCOooMUSIC I'm actually making a real comparison video showing off the mic compared to an SM 57. I recorded speech, guitar, percussion, brass, and a violin. So it shows a wide range of uses with the sounds in AB format. Recorded the sounds with the mics right next to each other. It will be up tomorrow. So be on the lookout! Subrscibe to me and you'll see when it gets posted. Hope it'll be what you are looking for!

  • @ooCRISCOooMUSIC Hey sorry, I used the wrong username last night, "hellorevolution" is actually me. So subscribe here and you should be able to find that the new video is up. Hope it helps!

  • te daba de ostias.

  • I think you should do it again without the auto-tune, and if you do need the auto-tune then set it to a really slow setting not as fast as it goes.

  • what autotune program did you use?

  • @RobDieselTV I used the "Pitch Corrector" set to its fastest setting in Logic Pro 9. It comes with Logic.

  • Ha ha Nice Hair Cut!!!! You look ooober good and your voice is amazing!!! Why u no make more vids ha ha you should sing similar Duet with Mary Ann Augustine

  • @OrcaFlights haha I think that would be quite splendid :D

  • Comment removed

  • Musically, I like it, auto-tune and all, but since I'm only here b/c I'm looking up Bluebird vids, and I feel like I have no idea what the mic sounds like from this vid, I'm a little annoyed:P lol

    Cool, tho; thanks for posting!

  • @yobhsiFehT haha! my bad yo, I wasn't really intending this as a review of the mic although it seems to have molded into that. Did you find what you are looking for already? Or should I make a video for you and all youtubers out there wanting a review on this mic. If so, what would you like to hear it record (i.e. guitar, voice, percussion) Let me know!!

  • @SolarFalre

Hey, well, w/ mic demo vids, I think it's generally a good idea to go the comparison to something everyone has a pretty good reference to in their head. So, something like the SM57 miking a Strat through Deluxe Reverb sound and then just change the one variable (mic), and we'll be able to hear the differences very well. And of course, electric guitars are only one option, but a comparison of mics picking up a wide variety of sound sources would probably be ideal~shrug~ :)

  • @yobhsiFehT I took this comment and did this video for you, minus the electric guitar part :) thanks for the idea!

  • @SolarFalre youtube.co m/watch?v=voyGv8kFJy8

  • @yobhsiFehT hey i posted a new video that is actually a nice review of the mic itself with a bunch of instruments! head on over to the video found here

    Hope this helps!

  • Solar, well done. Great voice and presentation.

  • @Geotubest thanks friend!

  • When you record on this mic, does it sound exactly like you?

  • @MinesR34 this mic sounds realistic but it adds a bit of a silky smoothness to the voice as well. It is a very very nice addition. It has warmth as well as crisp highs. For the money, you won't find a better mic around. I have this mic and several others and still come back to this mic for recording certain things. It is a very versatile mic that won't let you down for a $300 mic :)

  • @MinesR34 i have another video up that reviews the mic itself on a bunch of different instruments. Head on over to my page to check it out. It's called Bluebird Mic Review vs. Shure SM57 SHOOTOUT!

  • what program do you use too record ?

  • @gwillny12 I use Logic Pro 9 :)

  • I thought the first thing you sing is, When autotune has come #lol

  • He USED AUTOTUNE

  • @Bestofradio11 bravo

  • hey man i have a question, Which mic is better The bluebird or rode nt2a, Im a singer Rnb/Soul

    i use a tascam fw1082 as interface

    many thanks

  • @wrjissa86 i have another video up that reviews the mic itself on a bunch of different instruments. Head on over to my page to check it out. It's called Bluebird Mic Review vs. Shure SM57 SHOOTOUT!

  • what audio interface are you using and what program

  • @kolptin567 I am using an Apogee Duet with Logic Pro 9.. actualy wait... at the time of the video i was using a cheap little mixer and garageband.. So the mic sounds MUCH better now with the new preamp than it does here. I'll make a new video if you'd like showcasing the mic more

  • hey, is the quality good for recording hip hop vocals?

  • @EscoBaby2009 yes, very good. the mic has a silky texture to the vocals going in. Its a great mic for hip hop, pop, R&B, everything. It also is great on acoustics and capturing percussion. its a very good mic for many applications. I work in a studio and the blue bird beats out many of the other microphones and ends up on the mic stand more often than the AKGs even. But each person is different and different mics work for different people. but buy this mic for a singe mic with many applications

  • what model of Blue is that. and how much did u pay for it? was it worth it? my friend and i need a good quality microphone but we dont have all that much money

  • @Timegirl3924 hands down, this is one of the best mics you can get for your money, it runs around $300 and it was WELL WORTH IT! so many different uses for the mic and a very pro sounding mic for the money. Pair it with a nice preamp and you will be doing quite well.

  • @Timegirl3924 i have another video up that reviews the mic itself on a bunch of different instruments. Head on over to my page to check it out. It's called Bluebird Mic Review vs. Shure SM57 SHOOTOUT!

  • Amazing!! nice autotune settings!

  • @blanko41 thanks youz

  • wat effects did u use there

  • @janri13 Just the autotune feature that came with Garageband. (pre logic days =) ) and specific EQs for each of the vocal percussive instruments. Little reverb. nothing too fantastic.

  • chocolate rain

  • I also have the bluebird it's great on vocals and acoustic I haven't tried acapella though love your sound. I'm off to the studio :)

  • That's great bro!! I love that version you did with all the auto-tune and all that!! Very smooth! I got the same mic as yours, really good isn't it?

  • @jujucaster haha yes indeed! its an awesome little mic for the price. You can't do any better than that for 300. so many different uses!

  • Strange. I just bought this bluebird mic and i have the LG vu. We're like freakin bros. lol.

    Cool song though.

  • @bryantmagnus07 hahha!! thanks so strange! hope your lovin the mic as much as i am!!

  • How does the bluebird mic works? can you plug it into your computer? I'm planning to buy one from E-bay :)

  • @shanerx you cant plug it directly into yr computer. It has an XLR output from the mic that goes into your mixer or into your audio interface that in turn plugs into your computer. What are you using the mic for? Because if you want to suffer some quality loss for cost efficiency if you dont have a mixer that plugs into your computer or an audio interface you can look at Blue's Snowball which is a USB mic that goes straight into your computer.

  • @SolarFalre sorry didnt mean to but in but u gotta know that this and most other condenser microphones require 48v phantom power which you get from a power supply mixer or audio interface

  • @blacklead619 yes yes, very true. kinda took that for granted, you are right.

  • @shanerx i have another video up that reviews the mic itself on a bunch of different instruments. Head on over to my page to check it out. It's called Bluebird Mic Review vs. Shure SM57 SHOOTOUT!

  • whats a good preamp for that mic?

  • @901NewEra The one I used in this video is kinda crappy, but a really good preamp is the Apogee Duet. It's an audio interface that includes preamp and 2 inputs. It's about $495 with class A preamps. Thats the best price you can get for its amazing quality. It has great converters too for bouncing out audio. Makes everything sound better. Apogee Duet is the way to go.

  • @SolarFalre Thanks alot bud!

  • @901NewEra well u can get a package at thomann for it to go with the mbox 2

  • that was really good man!

  • good job dude

  • That was amazing.

  • Awsome! very nice mic...... btw does the mic come with shockmount

  • @brenda8721 yes indeed it does. The package deal.

  • good work main. but why do you move away to breath when you admit this is a lip sing? lol guess yu gotta be in the moment haha btw this is a real cool mic got one myself :p

  • lol, yeah it is a great mic, just have to get a better preamp to make it sound even better. I'm getting an Apogee Duet interface that comes with a great preamp. Your stuff will sound pro after you get that. But the whole breathing thing is just a little spoof/tribute to a youtube sensation called "Chocolate Rain"

  • BRAVO MY FRIEND!

  • hey...your testing was cool ! what's the pluging by the way ? (vocal effect) ? do you have a link or something, Bless

  • @KrowLiveTv hey thanks. What pluging are you referring to? do you mean plug-in?

  • sorry for writing this....plug-in yes, do you have a link or something so I download it, the effect on your voice

  • I'm using straight garageband stock effects. If you are on a windows I can't help you my friend, but if you have a mac, it's all done on garageband. There is a tuning on my voice that makes it flip up and down the notes without much slide. And the other voices are just EQed to fit their part better. For instance my high hat voice part has a lot of treble and not a lot of bass. While the bass lines have the opposite effect on them. The snare sound has a lot of highs too without the lows.

  • chris!!!man we Need to Start hanging again...this was awesome!!! i miss you man...

  • @pyrofreak205 fo real! your almost graduated now too right? where are you going to school? are you still gunna be around?

  • on the melody, are you singing the upper octave, or is that an effect?

  • @disbemissann I'm singing the higher octave, heheh. that was a fun take(s). :P actually only took two with some tuning.

  • WOW, Chris!! I'm thoroughly impressed :)

  • ps, favorited :)

  • JEALOUSSSS!!!!! I can't wait to record on that mic! ahhhhhh!!!!! D:

  • great Job!

  • heyy hollywood its Leann!
