@DoctorFeuer Warband handles large battles much better than the original. However in Warband you can get instant knockout if the enemy managed to fully charge into you with couched lance.

I would say get Warband for the enhanced gameplay but if you dont like getting instantly knocked out or randomly losing your weapon during battles then get the original one.

Now try fighting Nords with Rhodoks, and don't use any horse.

Well that war wasn't awesome from some minuites me with 121 soldiers won 438 soldiers alone after i opened a huge castle so i think that he was awesome like a player but he doesn't order his soldiers well and these soldiers were weak there was no a horse rider there?

in my warband i was rodhok and i controled everything but the hardest it was when i attacked the last city of swedia and everylord was there i nearly die but as marshall i call the entire rodhok and i win but man before them arrived i got 85% army dead and all it remain were 79 archers but i win very.Swedian cavalery is very strong but i dont use cheats all the game.

2) I believe Hired Blades have riding, which means that they can in fact be mounted. You just need to get the battle going, and then order your infantry to mount up.
