How I Do My Avatar Pictures For IMVU!

If you upload it by just going into 'Account' and doing it there. It never works.

Try this, Go into 'Account' As usual but go all the way to the bottom of the page and there is small blue writing, Click on 'Forums' After that, Another page will load again, Scroll all the way to the bottom of the page and click 'Profile' Upload your picture there, After you uploaded your picture, The page will refresh and it should say Your profile has been updated. Then just go to home, Done.

How i do the uploading before has all changed, Since IMVU Recent updates, They've taken away the otehr option for uploading your pictures in the 'Forums', So you would just have to downsize your picture you made to get it to fit in the 'Normal' Uploading place, The normal place to upload your avatar pictures are just in 'Account'

@KeekieBrown are you could just put the picture on picnik after doing it that sorts out the kb and u can upload straight away thats what i do

1. do your edit on photoshop

2. upload to picnik

3. save and upload to imvu

4. tada ur picture is on :3

Go into your account on the IMVU home page (Should be in the top right corner on the Imvu page)

Scroll all the way down the small blue print and click on "Forums" After that scroll all the way down on that page and click on profile, Then upload your picture there, It should work :3 x

@FreakyEmoKittyKat Hey Um, I charge 300 credits for each Avatar pic i do, and is your picture the right KB ? Anotehr way to upload it is to - Go on account setting, go down and click on fourms, go down again and cl;ick on profile then upload your picture at the "Browse" point, it should work, but you need to chek you KB and the size of the picture. x

@H3PSI4LIF3 You will have to go to your account settings, Then go all the way down and click on fourms, Then go all the way down and click on profile, Then you should get the picture browser up, Upload it from there, Once loaded it should say "Your profile has been updated Click Here to return to the Index" Then Click on The Imvu Sign and it should take you to the homepage and your picture should be there :) x

You find the picture you want on google images or something like that, get it up full size and simply drag it down to the GIMP bar and up into the layers box, then it should be there :)
