@Pedilul I also disagree, and I'm not a fanboy at all, in fact I hardly listen to Dream Theatre. If anything is sloppy in the video it is the lyrics, writing wise. Dream Theatre's weak lyrics are the reason I don't listen to them more often but I'm pretty much Mike Portnoy sounds as good as he ever does on this particular song(I also didn't hear him play out of time at all).

Well, it isn't one particular moment, but I think you guys have all misunderstood me - I never hear Portnoy get out of time usually, so it's very surprising for me. Listen throughout the song and you'll notice.

@Pedilul So you've put the stems for this song into Pro Tools and have mapped a perfect click track to it to determine your analysis? I think it'd be hard to find that he is off time if you haven't done that. If you're counting in your head, or even out loud, it's more than likely just you that's off. Not trying to ridicule :D Just seems like a bold claim.

I appreciate the tone, and I could be wrong of course, but am I the only one hearing him lose it a bit at like 2:46? he falls in tempo a bit and then rises again to try and keep up again. One of the best direct examples i believe. Of course it's nothing huge, just thought I'd point it out.
