Anyone that knows anything at all about the music business knows bands make the bulk of their money through appearances i.e. Touring.

The only profit made from record sales goes to the record companies NOT the bands. That's just the way it works so your precious SOPA is, essentially build on a foundation of BULLSHIT.

The reason that bands make the majority of their money off of touring now is because of online music...you never have to buy a record anymore. That's fine if you have an official channel, where YouTube gives you part of the advertising income (like Weezer VEVO, etc) but with this video...

Decline of record sales have nothing to do with bands losing money and everything to do with RECORD COMPANIES losing money. Bands have always made money from touring, always will.

Record Labels are losing money and most bands are LOVING IT! Why? Because fall of record companies will return the rights to the bands music back to the bands where it belongs.
