  • Your face will be eaten in your sleep.

  • I WANT A BOBCAT :D

  • My mother has fed a bobcat for years in the belief that it was a (large) stray cat! hahaha! It was so nice!

  • @telebaiestpaul Ahhhhh! Does/did she pet the bobcat?

  • Comment removed

  • @nroberson3 Yes, sometimes. She caressed him the head, but no more because the bobcat was a little aggressive... You know, my mother is blond! haha! She really believed for years that this was a stray cat. It is the only one who could approach it. One day my father finally saw the beast and he said: this is not a cat! It is a kind of puma or lynx! He was afraid!!

  • @nroberson3 Sorry for my average english. I'm french canadian.

  • is it legal to have bobcats as pets?

  • @asdfqwervd It depends on the state you live in and the city ordinance.

  • She's soooo cute!!!

  • She was getting a taste LOL

  • What's difference between bobcat and lynx? :3

  • thats.......amazing . you are doing a great thing with this cat. she ( ? ) seems to be one of your family ? my dog thinks she is is human........she is an many ways. great video. hi to you , and your cat from Andy in New Zealand

  • @tasman763 Thank you for your positive comment.

  • Pretty lady + cool Bobcat = WIN:)

  • @loveunderlaw Thanks for your sweet comment:)

  • @nroberson3 YW, enjoy the rest of your day!

  • @nroberson3 Your cat is very beautiful, looks like you have done an amazing job bringing him/her up greetings from London. I wont one XD

  • @genabet123 Thank you so much. She was a blessing to our family. Hi from Texas to London!

  • You should have gotten a male cause they are more gentle

  • @TheYes16 She was as gentle as a kitten. She even took naps with us, and adored my husband. She would place her head next to his, and when she would see that he was starting to wake up, she'd lick his ear gently. Then she'd press her forehead against his and the bonding would begin. She had a super deep, beautiful purr. I don't think we could have asked for a gentler bobcat.

  • A bobcat for a house pet????? I don't know. That thing could be in a bad mood one day and could do some serious damage.

  • @alexavwenz She never was mean with us nor got in a bad mood. She was a rather unique cat. We gave her the respect she deserved, and in return, she respected and loved us.

  • @nroberson3 thats what the lady said who owned the chimp, that bit her friends face off while the owner stabbed it with a knife. you were just lucky if that cat never attacked anyone.

    .

  • Hihihi! Is that catnip you have in your hand? LOL

  • @Illchangeitlater Actually, it was mint floss. She used to like it just as if it was catnip. She liked mint.

  • @nroberson3 Silly kitteh =^.^=

  • @nroberson3 u r the coolest wife ever ! my wife about killed me cuz i talked about having a pet squirrel. ur husband really found a diamond when he found you !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @amc320 How sweet!! We just have the same interests and love of cats. Good luck getting a pet.

  • whered you guys get it?

  • @dridri4life My husband found her almost dead in the wilderness.

  • @nroberson3 can you raise them like a kitten or do they need special food

  • @sofhuamay Yes, you raise them like a kitten. You can even place them with a domestic nursing mama cat. That's what we did with ours when she was tiny. But if you bottle feed them, you need to make sure you burp them and make sure they poop or they'll die. They actually are more fragile than domestic kittens.

  • are their tails naturally that short? or do you clip them?

  • @Rawralion Their tails are naturally short. That's why they're called Bobcats, because of the bob tail.

  • @nroberson3 ahhh ok =D thanks for the info, where I live we don't really have things like that lol

  • Thanks......21 years........truly amazing

  • that's sweet. did you de-claw this wild creature?

  • So amazing. This is a once-in-a-lifetime thing to see. Such a beautiful bond.

  • @PrincessKittyChan Thank you so much. She was a beauty and a treasure to us. There will be no other like her. Appreciate your sweet comment!

  • ahahahaha its like its trying to eat her out

  • You should disable the comments so these animal lover pansies can't vent and go cry.

  • Jealoussss

  • I hate feral cats, but they're good for keeping mice in check. I wish I could domesticate a couple bobcats to do the job instead, atleast they're native.

  • Oh, I would love to see what happened if somebody got aggressive with you. The fury would be magnificent.

  • Excellent video from a cat lover!!!

  • it smells the fish on your fingers

  • it died?

  • @CeleryMan3 Yes, she died over a year ago. She was a true blessing to us. Today they showed a bobcat on the Today show and I started crying. She'll always be in my heart.

  • So sorry, I know how you feel. But can you tell me how long she lived & how she died?

  • @pjambgc Sorry I had not replied. I had computer problems. We had her since the day she opened her eyes, 21 years. She loved eating raw chicken wings. One day she swallowed the wing without chewing it. She ruptured a lung and tore her esophagus. The veterinarian tried to save her, but there was too much damage. It's been over a year, and I still cry for her. But time heals all things.

  • @nroberson3 OMG! Now you are making me cry. I didn't mean to make you relive that sadness,so sorry. Mostly wanted to know how long bobcats can live. Even though 'my' bobcat is wild,I feel connected to her & worry about losing her, I've seen her with cactus thorns stuck in her & wanted to cry, & I've seen other bobcats injured, & me, unable to help. You & I have been incredibly lucky, the flip side...."unbelievable" heartbreak.

Thanks for your reply. Best of luck to you

  • @pjambgc Didn't mean to make you cry. I really didn't answer your question completely. The veterinarian says most wild bobcats that aren't connected to people in any way only live about 5 years because of predators and malnutrition. It is very sad to see bobcats in the wild, and not being able to feed them or pet them. We live in the country. If we see one, we stop to admire it but it immediately runs away. They are such beautiful creatures. Good luck with yours.

  • WOW! For years I've had a wild Bobcat ( 'Patches' ) have her babies on my roof, she is so use to me now,I can be in the yard with her & her kittens. I have felt so lucky , but being able to touch & pet!!!! Sorry you lost her. How long did she live? How did you lose her?

  • @pjambgc This is so cool. Do you have any videos on Youtube? Enjoy them!

  • This is one happy cat!

  • Awww she's beautiful! And you're awesome for saving her

  • such a very beautiful creature!! cats of all kinds are very special to me.

  • I want one!

  • remarkable creature. im suprised its not shredding you to bits

  • Any animal where you need to declaw them to prevent them from scratching the living hell outta you and your house makesme sick. Declawing cats is animal abuse.

  • That's bullshit this is a wild animal what the fuck is wrong with people. I'm supposed to hunt these critters.

  • This animal should not be a pet. It should be in the wild & could be reconditioned to live as nature intended. Horrible!

  • She was so beautiful!

  • i notice you kept saying " she was" does that mean that shes dead? =(

  • did you know she was trying to "mark" you to make you her property?

  • @fanofprotopic Oh, she had already done that when she was a kitten. That's a long story. But she sprayed me on the forehead when I was bonding with her. Boy, that's an intense smell!! But we trained her not to do that anymore. She learned what the word "NO" meant.

  • @nroberson3 Usually I'm not really a fan of people owning wild cats, but you guys are exceptional.

  • @fanofprotopic meh, all cats do that. Even house cats. That's just what cats doooo

  • do they make good pets??

  • @niglecs She did, but because we were her only parents. She never knew her mom. She was abandoned since she was a week old or so (almost dying). So we were able to bond with her and train her. She was obedient like a dog. She knew how to open doors and abeyed commands. She was truly a unique bobcat. But not all are like her. We were able to devote a lot of time with her. She was the love of our life!

  • @nroberson3 - you guys were truly blessed to have such a connection with a beautiful creature like her. I'm not a big believer in domesticating from the wild, but this is a very impressive story.

  • @niglecs dumb question

  • shes so adorable im sorry for ur loss but i hate idioits that comment on videos like this saying dumb stuff like o she gunna maul you why do you have that you obv no her temperment and have built a relation ship with her people should stop being immature

  • @madsudler Thanks for your understanding comment. I do agree with you totally:)

  • Aaw, what a beauty! Thanks for giving her a good life. I'm sorry for your loss.

  • @LittleLulubee Thank you! You're sweet:)

  • tonights news idiots raise bobcat, bobcat mauls and kills husband in sleep, wife says she didnt think it would ever happen, but it did get the full story tonight at 9.

thats what every fox news station will say

  • Amazing. It's obvious you and Chancey had a great relationship. I don't know how long bobcats normally live, but I kinda doubt most would live 21 years in the wild. You were lucky to have found each other.

  • @MartyInLa Yes we did. The veterinarians tell us that most bobcats live only about 5 years in the wild. But since she was in a safe environment, she had a longer lifetime. Thanks for your lovely comment:)

  • Don't yall people watch talk shows when people get their faces smacked off by wild pets?

  • How old is your bobcat now? Do you have any more videos that you can share?

    Thanks for the post! :)

  • @cccori Unfortunately, she passed away a little over a year ago. But she was 21 yrs old. We had her since the day she opened her eyes. And we do have a few more videos of her, but it's very painful for us to view them. She was our heart. I keep this video on Youtube because I feel as if she's still with me in a small way. Maybe one day if I'm strong enough, I'll post more videos of her. Thanks for your interest:)

  • @theknucklesmalone Clearly you don't know what you're talking about.....so sad!

  • @nroberson3 Ignore the Caveman, Clearly he doesn't know that's also where the knifes are, Btw it's a beautiful Bobcat you are lucky ^^

  • @Ebrech Thanks so much. I appreciate your comment:)

  • @nroberson3 What A BeautifuL Kitty. I Want One!!

  • @theknucklesmalone dude i hope you like knives in your back while you sleep you sexist shit eater @nroberson3 that is awesome that you have a bigger cat that will do that i wish i had a bigger cat

  • @chris96190304 get a job you crazy philantrapist you no nothing about nature, so just shut up

  • @HOUSEPARTYY3 get a life you fucking animal licker one of these times you are gonna get bit by it bitch

  • @theknucklesmalone Shut the fuck up, sexist fucking asshole.

  • @theknucklesmalone hey you sexist fuck you keep sayng that but you forget thats where the knives are at to stab you while you sleep you fucker and also it wanst pulled it was from a zoo if it was pulled from nature this video would have been deleted and the owner would have gotten arrested for it you stupid ass shit eater

  • @chris96190304

hahaha dude i'm joking. calm down.

  • @theknucklesmalone You would leave it there to die you sick fuck.

  • Very true.

  • @theknucklesmalone hahahahaha!!

  • @theknucklesmalone haahahahahahaahahahahahahahahahaahlolololololololololololol

  • @theknucklesmalone

oh you idiot goodluck having a wife and or girlfriend, your gonna make her feel so bad and make her feel trapted in her own house.

Oh and btw she pulled it out of its habitat BECAUSE IT WAS DYING she gave it life.

She let it have a life.

  • @theknucklesmalone Are you one of those 'animal rights' freaks? Or do you just eat wheaties all day?

  • @theknucklesmalone The bobcat doesn't appear to be in any danger nor angry. She obviously loves the owner. There's no telling how long the bobcat lived with the family, probably since she was a baby, who knows?

As for that kitchen comment... yeah being sexist will get you nowhere.

  • Thank you for the video...Beautiful:)

  • @BrentOFCalifornia You're so very welcome. She was our angel that brought much happiness into our home. Thanks for your sweet comment:)

  • "she only knew us and became very mild mannered. We handled her with care, love and respect."

Great point. This is what many fail to understand. I have a Lynx as a pet for nearly 5 years now and he acts the same exact way yours is in this vid. Many tell me he should be in the wild, this and that...but he isn't on a leash or in a cage, and seems perfectly happy sticking around. It aint cheap to feed him, and he will destroy unattended shoes faster than a dog will lol. Great vid :) educational

  • @a50745 It's good to hear from someone who also has a similar pet. Your lynx sounds like a sweetheart! Give him a big hug for me:)

  • this is incredible. people dream about raising animals like this but usually it doesnt work because the animal's instincts kick in and they become aggressive. you are very lucky Chancey was so loving! im sure you were great owners as well. simply incredibe animal

  • @bdelpilar218 Thank you so much for your positive comment. I appreciate it:)

  • your wife has a cool haircut! kinda 60s style :)

  • @sabu85 Interesting!!

  • Awwwwwwwwwwwwhaha So cute!

  • @HarukaJoge Thanks for the positive comment. It feels good to receive nice comments.

  • @nroberson3 Youre very welcome! She is too cute and sweet!

  • That had to be a domesticated Bobcat from birth..

  • @Goldenchild795 Well, when we found her, she was abandoned on a ranch with her eyes closed. The good thing was, she never associated with other bobcats in the wild. So she only knew us and became very mild mannered. We handled her with care, love and respect. The only time she was acquainted with wilderness was when we moved to a ranch. We would let her loose in the backyard with us. She never ran into the brush. She would just follow us, especially my husband. She guarded us like a dog would.

  • catnip session?

  • cute=D

  • That is a beutiful story!!! I love cats of all kinds, but have to admit my fav is the cougar. Your girl there is a lucky cat, and I'd say it works both ways.... she is truly gorgeous and so are her owners.... love it...

  • @4Judski How sweet! Thanks so much. Appreciate the lovely comment:)

  • why do people insist on having a wild animal for a pet??.....its great till they go off and maul someone.....and they can go off at any time no matter how well you treat them.

  • Hey nice legs and nice Cat

  • @wolfhound692 Thanks:)

  • @nroberson3

Nice body on the pretty lady. Never knew Bobcats could be kept as pets..interesting.

  • wow this is amazing! Were there any problems with the bobcat being aggressive? Or does that only apply with how its raised and how early you can get it?

  • @c4nucksens8tion No problems at all! Yes, it does matter how it's raised and how early you get it, definitely. We bonded with her on a daily basis. She was our girl!! We provided her with whatever she needed. She would even walk with us outside our house, and never ran away. Later on we moved to a ranch which she really liked. But we never let her out by herself. She was always ready to come into the air condition and take her naps on the bed. We'll miss her forever!

  • We have a sheriff here in Texas that has two bobcats as pets. Bobcat, the older, was found only a few days old, and hand raised. He follows the sheriff around like a dog, and does great on a leash. He sleeps in the drunk tank when the sheriff is working nights. Gets your attention when you walk into the office and are greated by a bobcat!!!

  • @txbadgirl1 If they'd have a dozen bobcats posted near the prison cells I think nobody in their sane mind would attempt to escape. :-)

  • @purpleravenstar LOL....in this case Bobcat just wanted a warm body to sleep with. Don't rub his tummy cause he will chew on your fingers...gently, but he gets your attention! And I agree, if you did not know Bobcat was a honey, NOONE would go near him!

  • @txbadgirl1 That's a really cute story. I love hearing cute stories like that. Actually, our bobcat was very protective of my husband. If a woman would sit next to him, she would let her know to keep her distance. But she loved men. I would call her a flurt.

  • My school mascott:)

  • That's one big and lovely pussy you got there between your legs!

I know, I'm bad, can't help it! But honestly, very cute =)

  • Wow, amazing video, lovely animal xxx

  • @djMissMixit Thanks so much. We loved her dearly:)

  • all it will take is that animal going nuts and your life is over.

  • @DeerParkNewsWire Well, we had her for 21 years until she went to cat heaven, and she never went nuts on us. Not all bobcats are the same, just as not all people are the same. We were very lucky to have such a mild mannered bobcat. But we connected with her and gave her space.

  • @DeerParkNewsWire Dude, it's a 75 pound cat. Even a woman can fight one off. Just because you're a pussy doesn't mean she is. Besides, animals aren't like humans - they show loyalty unconditionally and if you treat them well, they will NEVER retaliate.

  • @TKMSeznam12 Liked your comment!! Thanks!

  • why couldnt you just get away from home, and live go out an connect and study them in the wild

  • @realloyd20 You know, that would be interesting. But I leave that to the experts. As I said before, I didn't set out to go looking for a bobcat. We found her half dead when she was over a week old, and after we helped her survive, we fell in love with her. The veterinarian said if we would have put her back into the wild, she would have probably died. Bobcats are very fraile when they are young. Anyway, she loved us and we loved her. We gave her a great life for 21 yrs.

  • @nroberson3 ok that makes sence, as long as you didnt buy it from some blackmarket,,, ughh that just errks me!! but thanks for the clear up, sorry if i cam eoff as rude, im really not i was just so mad that day

  • @realloyd20 No problem. You're not the first to get upset thinking we had bought her. Thanks!

  • And what if you had bought her? Big deal- the animals live for food and shelter- so you gave her both- what a lucky animal. People are ridiculous. It's probably not fun to be fending for yourself in the wild with trappers and hunters, wild animal attacks, injury, disease, and possible starvation either.

  • @manoftin2 Nice comment!

  • @nroberson3 It was so good of you to do it, and she is GORGEOUS. Did you have problems with her spraying all over the house and destructiveness in general?

  • @jewelmarkess Thanks, and she did not spray at all. I guess because we trained her to use the litter box since she was tiny. And if she wanted to spray, we had a water gun ready. She was very smart. She knew right from wrong. She was even able to open doors. She always amazed us. We miss her so much. I just don't have the heart to remove the video from Youtube. I kind of feel she's still alive.

  • @nroberson3 I am really sorry about your loss. She did have a great life that she wouldn't have without you.

  • @nroberson3 its great you saved her and gave her love and a good life!

  • @clairenunavut Thank you so much. She was truly a blessing:)

  • Well, at least it's not a cougar sleeping with your husband ;-D

  • @y2kye Nice one ;D I laughed a lot at your comment.

  • @y2kye Actually, we have a friend who has a cougar that would sleep with her since it was a couple of weeks old. Then one day we saw the cougar napping with her when the cougar was a year and a half old. It was bigger than her. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Unbelievably, the cougar was super tamed. It was really unreal!! Now it lives on a ranch. And now her husband sleeps with her. LOL!! He booted the cougar out.

  • @y2kye LMAO!!

  • @y2kye I'm still laughing about your comment. And there I was telling you about a "real" cougar...DAH!!

  • chauncy is our pet bobcat...could possible be famous for Pollock type paintings in blood after he snaps one day and goes after the family...

  • Well, don't listen to the haters. I think your bobcat was adorable :D Now I want one as a pet <3 He looked just so friendly :)

  • @fishielover1124 Thanks, you're sweet! I appreciate your comment:)

  • @nroberson3 Aww well I speak the truth! Don't let these haters get you down :) <3 I love cats, so seeing this adorable bobcat made me smile lol

  • Everone's entitled to his opinion. And as a matter of fact, I do agree with you. This, however, was a special case.

  • I think that we are missing the point here. This animal should be living in an open space, hunting and getting his/her own food like any other wild animal. It's NOT ok, to have a bobcat as a pet!

  • @Aleja741 This how domestic cats and dogs got started.

  • Better have that thing declawed. I regular housecat will play and cut you all up. Bobcats sever limbs.

  • @94StrokerZ28 And she wasn't a "thing"! She was our beloved bobcat. However, she's in heaven now. And just so you'll know, she was declawed from the front claws. HAPPY TO SAY, she never hurt us.

  • @nroberson3 I do apologize and I am sorry for your loss.

  • @94StrokerZ28 Thanks for your apology. I appreciate it.

  • +1 for the 1950's clothes and hair

  • @jrg8008 not nice! Why would shorts and a top be considered 1950's?? And my hair is just naturally curly. Sorry you feel that wayl.

  • @nroberson3 umm, "+1" used this way is generally meant to convey a compliment...as in:

    +1 for the cool bobcat

  • @wokkawicca Oh, my apologies! I learned somethingl.

  • You Americans really have to have everything, dont you.

  • @Einherjar616 And that is wrong because???
