They cleaned up some of the collisions, and the contact points seemed crisper. It played the same otherwise, run blocking may have been cleaner, but never c a lineman push a guy 5 yards back. Nanos worked, and backs picked up blitzes when asked. The defensive coverage may mirror NCAA, but i hope not, we did test the safetys in cover2's and they did a better job of coming up, like NCAA

@QuackNeilProductions Yeah, this is EA, with every sports game, every year, they boast overhauls, and new additions, every single time its pretty much the same game year in year out with minor tweaks that don't really improve the game, they did NHL well but thats it, theyve been having a go with fifa for a decade and its still shite, madden is good but if you think this is gunna be any diffirent to the last one your dreaming. Get Sony San Diego to make an NFL game!

Madden 12 is taking the lead from NCAA in terms of presentation and trying to create environment and atmosphere. Finally, Madden is starting to look like a next gen football game from a presentation standpoint. Madden has never really captured the true NFL broadcast feel to their games like 2K5 did 7 years ago.

I'm not ready to say the presentation is "excellent", because all we've seen are individual scenes. What will make it excellent is if all of those things are put together properly scene-to-scene. As we've seen from EA in the past, they're great at creating trailers that fool you into believing that a specific feature is going to be great, but when you get the game home you find that there is a total lack of cohesion. We can't let slick trailers steer our judgement so easily.
