I've loved Magnum since the 80's. Everytime I've felt down with life I've played their songs, they have never failed to help me feel better by the time I've finished listening to them. Fantastic band. Long may they continue. :-)

They've been around for years. I bought Marauder, a recording of a live gig at the Marquee in London when I was 18. I'm 50 next year!!!

@cDayz They hit their peak in the mid 80s to early 90s, but are still going. Theirs albums are still available, and worth getting. I'd suggest Vigilante, Storyteller's Night, Wings Of Heaven and Goodnight LA. Heck, get all of them! :)

Eleventh hour, Story tellers night, Vigilante, Wings of Heaven are all good albums, after that they wanted to win audience in America, sold out and it was all downhill...

Goodnight L.A wasn't very good, it had a few awesome tracks but all the songs Tony Clarkin wrote together with professional songwriters are among Magnum's worst ever.

But Sleepwalking and Rock Art that followed are both good albums, and all their three albums since they reformed are great stuff.
