Yeah, basically, the community in WOW is pretty awful really, as you can see from some of the replies on here. (eg "I'm not even going to bother with explaining how fucking stupid your comment was because IT WAS BEYOND MOTHER FUCKING GODLY STUPID!") I play LOTRO and the community there is way better, also superior graphics in LOTRO. AoC does look like it has its charms too, im considering getting it to see how it compares with the others I have.

Though the Real reason why alot of people still play WoW is because they have already worked so hard in get a char to lvl 80 and some they have more then one lvl 80 char.Although they have that they probably playing other online games while having their WoW account active which i think its stupid cuz your wasting money but meh.I know a guild in WoW that dose they are so good in raiding that they got bored so they are playing other game and they only get on WoW for raiding.

Hmmm... After having been in the beta and playing AoC at launch, i was massively disapointed (i'd been talking it up for three years litterally!). Quickly went back to WoW, but the... passion to play another MMO is there. Don't suppose anyone can tell me what new content has been added? The started zone was amazing, but soon as you left it, they should have given you a hard hat. Running across a zone only to be rolled back to the start is NOT fun.

I reckon your a little off there. What type of processor do you have? I would also advise getting at least 2000+MB RAM. If you have a dual core processor and 2Gb RAM, I would advise on splashing out on a good graphics card. To run AoC, I would say an 8800 512MB for good, affordable power. If you have more cash to spend go for a 9800 856MB series. If your cash flow knows no limits, go for a 260 or a 280 (if you know, your some kind of demi-god). All of those cards are from nVidea and are on web.

I have played alot of diffrent mmo's 8 total.

My latest MMO was WOW i played it for 2 years with my wife, it was a really good MMO.

But i did not like everything, like the pvp it was a bit boring.

I have played Shadowbane and if you compare it with WOW pvp, wow pvp is worthless, anyway the pve was awesome !

Well after around 2 years AOC came me and my wife just had to try it !

And i can only say OMG !

Its AWESOME !

One of the best mmo's ive played :)

Ugh. I forgot to add in my last comment that she's singing part of one of the eddas. (sagas) (the Völuspá from Hauksbók I think) No one speaks like they did 800+ years ago anymore so Helene's pronunciations are different and she's basically using a Nynorsk pronunciation of the Old Norse when she sings it. Modern day Icelandic is identical to what the Hauksbók was written in, and Icelanders can read and write it just fine, but their pronunciation is also different from what it was 800+ years ago.

Pretty sure I saw a interview where a Funcom guy said it would take about 200 hours of active gameplay to get to lvl 80, so 8-9 days of gameplay yeah. so shouldnt be too much of trouble for an fulltime gamer to make an account full of lvl 80s =) I guess its couse they put more fun in endgame play rather than making people grind for a year to reach max lvl :P if you play 6 hours a day it would take you about a year to fill your acc with lvl 80s, unless they change exp ratings or your slow.. ^^

Ofc. it varies ALOT on your playstyle,how good you are, how much you PVP, how much time you spend in town, and what class you are etc etc...

If you play normally/slow it would probably take you 300-500 hours of playing :P

But no one knows for sure, they can change the ratings alot from beta to retail version.
