Amazingly: this is the great Buddy de Franco on clarinet, everybody's favourite, Clark Terry on trumpet and the legendry doomed genius Wardell Gray on tenor saxophone. Wow! How about that for a band? (Freddie Green, of course on guitar and Gus Johnson on drums. I don't know the bassist - and these performances, emphatically, were NOT recorded live at The Apollo).
