I looked and didn't find it this weekend when I posted a bunch of EJ stuff. Still not giving up hope. Will post if I find it. Had a decent audio of it. Eric was true to the meter and groove. Only changed the timing of the break (32 seconds) a tiny bit.
dennisandvicki: I believe Eric Johnson also did an original song that was called "Tribute to Jerry Reed," which was in the style of Reed. I believe a live performance of that song is here on YouTube...later on, another country guitarist named Brad Paisley did a tribute to Eric Johnson called "Cliffs of Rock City," in the style of Eric Johnson.
Three great guitarists...I would've loved to hear Jerry Reed and Brad Paisley record something together.
Thank you for uploading this! Did Jerry Reed record any other instrumentals on electric guitar? The few that I've heard have all been on acoustic. There was a live guitar medley of his on YouTube that was amazing but it has been removed.
After Roy Clark, Jerry Reed was the one who made me WANT to play guitar, and this, along with "Lightning Rod" from the same album( East Bound and Down), were the songs that did it. R.I.P., brother Reed and God Bless you!
AAaahhh juke it son! Is this song in G?????I want to leanr it thanks for any help!
