thought this Christmas special was THE worst i have ever seen.

The "acting" was terrible,the script was weak and the plot was corny and cheesy beyond belief.

Dr Who has run out of steam,The BBC has run out of imagination and money.

(possible stories)remember the genesis ark a timelord creation.. a new earth/galifray the coming of the timelords.. they did not all die.. David tenant may leave doctor who during the series or at the end of 2010.. there are still talks of a new doctor who movie..

More likely a coincidence. If it is a 'rip-off' of anything, it's most likely an unstated reference to Starship Titanic, a computer game designed by Douglas Adams (who, as fans will tell you, was script editor for quite a bit of the original series). It was first mentioned in Life, The Universe and Everything in 1982. I think Futurama was probably giving a nod to Douglas too.
