  • LA Guns in 2012 ftw!

  • Sure miss the 80s it was a simpler time ......... The world going to shit and we r the toilet paper!! God Bless Power ballads!!! LOL.

  • Michał Szpak 1:45

  • isnt that slash with the top hat on?

  • @tommysynthesizerguy Slash is not in this video. Phil Lewis has on a tophat for a minute though.

  • Breaking hearts

  • i miss the 80's this reminds me of my best friend tamara.who's in heaven Miss you lots girl

  • Oh boy!!

This song is really special to me... basically in this moment.

JPSM now you're breaking hearts in heaven. I still hear your voice in the wind and i still think about you in the night! I guess they would never know how much i need you so...

It's a fucking shame what happened to you...='(

  • what a great ballad...too perfect

  • some glorious ballad cliche right there!

  • Why isn't he wearing a shirt everyone else has a jacket.

  • SONG 4 MY LADY

  • OMG this reminds me to cruising around back in high school with my first girlfriend in the late 80's

  • this video brings back memories of the haze of the eighties when it comes to romance & rock.

  • Been reading some of the comments and tbh I thought Tracii Guns WAS in GnR to begin with? I always thought that was where the name came from...Tracii being the "Guns", Duff "Rose" McKagan and Axl Rose obviously being the "Roses"?

  • @RowdyAldazar LA Guns was formed in 1983 by Tracii with the lead singing duties done by William Baily. Baily left, formed RAPIDFIRE, then changed his name to W.Axl Rose and formed HOLLYWOOD ROSE w' Izzy Stradlin. In 84 they broke up and Rose went back to LA GUNS. BUT, then they combined the two bands (kind of) to reunite HOLLYWOOD ROSE, which was Rose, Stradlin, Darrow, Weber. Then Tracii joined HR then added Ole and Gardner and called it GUNS N ROSES! Ole out Duff in, Guns out Slash in

  • @mastervoz I really thought that with the merger of LA Guns and Hollywood Rose, that this band would be gone. But lo and behold, I was surprised that it emerged in 1990 with this song.

  • @mastervoz listen to mastervoz, rowdyaldazar. He got it right. That's how it happened. (as far as I know and have read, anyways. heheh).

  • Seen them with Dokken last sunday

  • Tracii fucked over Phil & Steve by walking out on a World Tour to do the Brides disc with Nikki Sixx. For some reason he bailed on the dudes who helped make him a star. When the Brides was never going to be a permenant thing because Nikki had MOTLEY.

Phil & Steve are carring on the music of LA Guns with Scotty Griffin & Stacey Blades (doing a damn fine job too). Neither of them want him back, he can keep playing to 50 people with Dilana now on vocals...she deserves better than that

  • Please get this line up back together, even with Paul on Vocals would be actually better.

  • Best line up.

  • Poor Jayne. She's actually buried in the town next to me. She's got a big heart as her tombstone.

  • Did anyone out there that this song is written about Jane Mansfield?

    Kelli

  • @ElizabethOrlene This is/was a song about Jayne Mansfield, the mom of Mariska Hargitay.

  • I know that there's another version,heavier,isn't it??

  • I love this song.......

But this video is odd, isn't it??

  • Thumbs up if your name is Jayne :) WITH A Y!!!

  • this dude looks like Slash, gerardo, and Stephen Pearcy all in one video? Great song tho.

  • @no0trailorparks0plz Dude... if you lived in LA in the 80s... you had to look like this! lol Faster Pussycat looked like this too. List goes on and on....

Oh, great time machine... please take me back! Set your dial to 1982 and let me be free of this world I live in!!!

  • @azrock4ever Thats true. Back then it was overkill...well hey we always had that old Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth...etc..

  • Dammit I hate sounding old but the 80's fawking rocked. Long haired dudes, metal was mainstream, and it was all about the party. Hell yeah. Long live my teenage years.

  • @MitchsAllNite to bad this song came out in 1990. not the 80's.

  • @swiss420 i stand corrected 89..lol sorry

  • @MitchsAllNite dont worry, im feelin the same way every day!!

thank God we are testiment to those glorious days.

  • @MitchsAllNite ..they sure did!! the 80's were the best of times and concerts!!

  • @ecsteelheader got that shit right

  • @ecsteelheader me being a 90s person, wish i can live one day or a week in the 80s :/

  • @XDemongothXx ,, The early to mid 80's were the best!!, If i went back i'd have to pick 1986!! and for the whole year..lol

  • @MitchsAllNite Wasn't it awesome?? Party on, my friend! :)

  • @RaspberryMunch It sure was awesome,,then the 90's came and the Seattle shit killed it!!

  • @ecsteelheader Thank god.

  • @MitchsAllNite Fuck yes!!!! Party and women....It was a riot...Will never be like that again....ever :)

  • @stoningtonj ..Absolufuckinlutley!! party party party and lots of women!!

  • @MitchsAllNite Thousand thumbs up!

  • @MitchsAllNite damn straight they did!

  • is that Slash's clone singing? lol

  • @VeritasSuperarachnid He is Tracii Guns, the one who should have donned the guitars of GNR.

  • @VeritasSuperarachnid Supposed to the original guitarist, where it not he had been kick of the GNR band.

  • Listening to these songs brings goosbumps to my arms and flash backs of how great my teenage years were and how awesome the music was!!!!! Memories ohhh how powerful they are....

  • No one else could sing this great song but Phil...

This was a great unique song....

  • Phil Lewis was so fucking hot!

  • this song rocks classic rock is the best amen

  • Is this really about a porn star?

  • @heystiletto If I recall correctly, it was about Jayne Mansfield.

  • @Ahleanna And you recalled that correctly. kudos

  • @heystiletto This song is/was about Jayne Mansfield, the 60's actress, and the mother of Mariska Hargitay.

  • @Supersweetguy i did not know that. wow, thanks. She died on a highway in my city and I've heard ghost stories my whole life. But everybody believes in ghosts in these parts. Learned something new today. I do love this song. Going to see them tonight.

  • omg I cant stop listening to this song!!!

  • Grancias por las memorias

  • Thank Heavens I grew up in the 80's!! It was a blast with a capital B! Remember all of the concerts...damn, it was FUN!! Glam rock and metal was and is the greatest stuff on earth!

  • @snowballga wow, really wish i was there =( i hate this shit today, it just has no soul and meaning...

  • @mccune7681 Awww...I know...you would have loved it! Well, you obviously *do* love it...you've got an 80's soul. :-)

  • LA Guns(and Roses)

  • 52 people don't know what happened to Jayne. :P

  • what happend to jayne

  • I feel it too. I'm 46 & I still remember jams like this. I sang for a band from 83 to 92 & we did stuff like this. In fact, my guitarist & I are even doing new things. I have a great job & don't want to loose it but still there is a part of me that wants to write again. Reek Havok was our band name.

  • Man I remeber going out to the desert with my friends in the 80's and cranking this up in my lifted Chevy 4x4 having some beers with some friends around a campfire...those were so good ol days! Now I sing in a Motley Crue tribute band just to relive those old memories and try and give those memories back to all my 80's friends. Check my videos out and keep teh 80's alive!

  • im 16 and i love this music i wish i was around back then now adays music dosnt mean anything justt money

  • Did any one know phill is a english romany gypsy?

  • see these guys lately?

  • @circuitprotector All i know is they are touring with Dokken and im going. Not for La Guns but for Dokken love dokken! lol

  • Total-Collapse . com

  • this song encapsulated my teenage love life. i was 15 and in love with Donna. we would mess around in her room with this song playing on her tape deck. a few months later i was messing around with myself in my room and crying....lol

  • NoName Jane, the original "American Beauty" and bar-none THE most gorgeous woman God ever created.

Nothing happened to her. She's real, and she lives. God bless her.

    Gotta love a dirty woman.

  • Always liked this song,...

  • @glambertlover507 make sure to check out Kix - Dont Close Your Eyes

  • @syphic definatly will do that thanx

  • @syphic Great song, I remember when it came out,....

  • @syphic fuck that, Mama, I'm Coming Home by Ozzy is better. She's into country, not gay ballads.

  • @syphic Make sure you check out Stevie Nicks "Red River Valley"

  • @glambertlover507

forget the term phase. once you start listening to 80s you don't ever go back. cause you advance. and you would think that music would get better overtime but the truth is. its been too overlooked and now its horrible.

80s and early 90s for life!!

  • @Metalitron12 lol i kno what you mean about the music being overlooked, i only listen to the older stuff of every genre, it sucks cuz there isnt any real talent in this generation, at least thats what i c.

  • @glambertlover507 Hey man...a very good rock song is by Saliva. It's called "Always". It captures, for me at least, the feelings for my "conquest" of the chics I'd get after my band played.... I "Always" thought I loved them....or, that's what I told them anyway. :)

  • @jiberias you mean Salifag

  • @jiberiasthanks:) ill look it up but lmao im not nessesarally a man, in fact im a 17 yearold girl lol ..what makes it so funny is im prolly the same age those "chicks" were, and ik how the "thought" of love is, but most of the time with ppl my age all love is is a thought

  • @glambertlover507 this rocks!!!

  • what a decade damn i miss the 80's so many nights i fall asleep thinking of them damn good ole days when every day was blast! such a shame never will be like this again that what hurts so bad onlly got the memories but then again thank god for that thanks for posting!

  • 80's rocked:):) Now she's breaking hearts in heaven...sweet!!!

  • like what happened to just being good ol heartbroken?

  • @dmarkmay like me right now? I started with "Miles Away" by Winger, and got here :(

  • I assume you miss those days, well check out this fucking band! SUITE 88, they are fucking proof that ROCK IN ROLL IS NOT DEAD! believe it or not, These motherfuckers knows what it fucking means to be rockstars. just type in suite 88 in the search and I promise you will be fucking happy you did! My favorite song is Save me, it has an amazing melody and if you like this you will love them, and you will be happy because after you hear them you will realize rock n roll isn't dead! :)

  • Phill lewis has some fucking kick ass vocals

  • Why is everything so scary now? I've heard so many stories of how great it was back 30-40 years ago, now everyone gets in trouble for anything, and everything...It's lame, and I hate this generation, but hey, what can you do? :(

  • Kelly just looks so cool in ever video! I grew up with this stuff i love it!!

  • kick ass song

  • I love this song !!!!

  • goes to my ex i miss u sorry things coudnt work out

  • .....one good bloody band....

  • First Axl Rose formed a band called A.X.L which had Chris webber on lead, Izzy and other memebers, but it got disbanded cause of Axl's attitude, then they changed their name to Hollywood Rose, Soon Webber left and Slash and Steven joined, Izzy also left, then Axl went in another band called LA Guns which had tracii, but Axl was being a dick again and well they changed their name again to Hollywood Rose and it had Tracii on the lead and rob on the drums, Tracii and rob left and GNR was Formed.

  • They better than Motley Crue

  • @iAXE692 Huh?

  • Now I know where Slash got his hat idea from....I am just saying...

  • Comment removed

  • actually he got this idea when he saw this kind of hat in a shop he really wanted it and somehow managed to steal it :D

  • esta musica e maravilhosa!!!!

  • If I only had all the money I've spent on concerts, concert tee's, girls, whiskey,,wow, good times...

  • y pensar q los guns'n roses derivan de esta banda........

  • I HAD THE BEST TIMES IN THE 80'S I WOULD DO ANYTHING TO GO BACK IN TIME. NO I'M 41 AND ITS LIKE I DON'T HAVE MUCH TIME LEFT AND MUSIC ISN'T AS FUN AS IT WAS THEN. . NIRVANA HAD TO GO AND MAKE EVERYONE ALL DEPRESSED AND THEN IT WENT DOWNHILL FROM THERE. NOW EVERYONE IS SO DAMN ANGRY.

  • @MrSOCIETYDWELLIN Hell Yeah, there'll never be a better time to be a teenager than the 80's.

And I can take almost anyone of the old records, like British Steel, Too Fast For Love, Holy Diver... and every single song still gives me goosebumps after 30 years! That will never ever happen again.

    I'm 40.

  • @MrSOCIETYDWELLIN

i hear ya im 34 and and can still remember first time i heard metallica ride the lighting.i dont care what ppl say rock died with the big hair.theres still great bands but i dont see anyone in near future coming out and kicking ya in the teeth like g-n-r,la guns, skid row, posion, warrent it wasnt about having the biggest houses or cars or bling it was to rock on and have fun...just my little rant lol

  • @MrSOCIETYDWELLIN I hear ya man!

  • @MrSOCIETYDWELLIN

I completely agree with you, the 80's music was real, fun and meant something. You can't beat the hair bands!

  • @TheMacdaddy68 No, it wasn't. All the 80's did was blow the saying sex, drugs, and rock and roll out of proportion. It was a time of not caring, and not giving a shit. I was fun, but it didn't mean shit and fucked over something that was real then.

  • @MrSOCIETYDWELLIN

Back then my mom thought this was heavy, lol!!!

  • @MrSOCIETYDWELLIN ...but dude....CHEER UP, I know things blow now..blows donkeys...but...THANK FUCKIN GAWD 4 U-TUBE,..RIGHT???

  • @MrSOCIETYDWELLIN i feel the same...

  • It does all seem funny kinda like a dream ~j~ ~j~ ~j~

  • he is beautiful oh and his eyes they are so beautiful and blue <3 Phil is a very pretty boy

  • Pure 80's magic!!!

  • I love this song...i grew up in the 80s and it was the best time of my life!!!

  • I LOVE THIS SONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • R.I.P. Jayne Mansfield

  • Epic Song.... :=)

  • The fact that badass metal guitarist Traci Guns made this song is a tribute to the fact that no matter what....the bills must be paid

  • Why did they write a song about someone who died 20 years earlier? Was this like the GLAM version of being a hipster?

  • @tristero3122 Well one reason it;s hard to write about people in the future because you dont know what will happen so writing abotu someone in the past makes more sense, another reason is the person they wrote the song about was one of the biggest female stars of her time (probably second to Marylin Monroe) And the word shame rhymes with Jayne better than it does Marylin

  • actually the real first singer for guns-and-roses

  • ponen dedo 51 veces abajo porq sera bueno no me interesa lo uniko q importa es l.a guns jamas morira y la balada de jayne en difibitiva es una obra de arte

  • 15/10 in Gothenborg :)!

  • This is before Izzy went to GNR

Thats where the name comes from

LA Guns and Axl Rose= GNR

  • @tat2z4evr no, it doesn't come from axl rose, it comes from hollywood rose

  • LA guns rock!! one of our influences check us out!

    /watch?v=7hcprXmbniQ

  • Aerosmith"s song had nothing to do with this song or Jayne Mansfield. It's about a girl being sexually and physically abused and ending it by shooting her man.

  • @joeytheratt Awsome I never knew that....

  • @joeytheratt that man was her Daddy!!!

  • great song... now this was real music.

  • This song by LA Guns is about Jayne Mansfield, the Aerosmith song,i don't belive is about this Jayne...

  • The song is about Jayne Mansfield, movie actress, playmate of the 50's n 60's, she died in a car crash Biloxi,Ms late 60's

  • Who was Jayne? Aerosmith wrote a song about her too during that same time period and they are both tribute songs. She must have been someone special. Does anyone know who they were referring to?

  • @xrwm69 I've wondered the same thing, Jayne, and dont forget about Jaynes Addiction

  • woodstock....... FOREVER!

  • I'm 13 and I hate rap I just wish i could go back to the 80's

  • Im down for 87' lol

  • man the 80's was a blast i'm with the one with the time machine i wanna go back

  • I wish I could have been alive in the 80's, the best music was around then and now we have all this newer crap that kids my age listen to and when I try and talk about bands I like they all look at me funny and even some of my teachers don't know what I am talking about

  • HELL YA LETS GO TO THE 80S WHERE THEY KNEW WHAT REAL MUSIC WAS!!!!!!! MAKE ROOM FOR ME ON THAT TIME MACHINE!!! Seriousely, I would give anything to go back to the 80!!!! I MISS THEM SOOO MUCH!!!! :>(

  • Love this Song You guys are Great :)x

  • shit i miss old times and friends

  • jani....:(

  • This is the crew Axl used to run with before forming GN'R. Can't believe it's been so long.
