@Carvemasta not necessarily, from a university of maine website; "most foam...forms when water is mixed with air, such as by a waterfall or waves breaking against shore. plants and animals release organic compounds as they decompose, and these compounds lessen the surface tension of water and create bubbles." sometimes foam IS a sign of detergents or sewage treatment. but i think the presence of a massive figgin' waterfall in an oxygen rich river like this is the reason.

@MrJohnnyrace Me too and It is vary easy to over fish a place I have seen it first hand. some times there is only thirty pike or trout in a given lake or stream and you catch five and two die when you let them go and you keep three. now if five or ten people do the same thing you lucky if ther is five fish left at the end of the year
