breastfeeding is an amazing and beautiful thing. its one hundred percent natural and its also free. God put the milk there so we could nourish our children and making fun of that is very disrespectful of peoples decisions and beliefs. i give the woman props. my daughter is six months old and i much plan on nursing her for at least another year and a half but its already hard. its not so the nourishment as it is that you are giving them a part of yourself and thats amazing.

I agree with you and why you made this video. The social implications of a child at that age still breastfeeding must far outweigh any health benefits. I'm English, and there are far too many kids here getting wrapped up in cotton wool and being far too dependant on their parents, so that when they grow up they can do nothing for themselves. If that extends to a physical dependance the implications will harm the child's prospects in later life. What good's a high IQ if she won't leave the house?

I saw it some time ago, the emotional damage far out weighs any benefit if there was one but there isn't because the vital milk babies get is after birth, the first feedings are critical, IMHO they are receiving nothing special. In Britain it's perfectly normal for a mother to continue breast feeding a child until he or she is well into their teens - in fact Doctors recommend it. I myself drew milk at the nipple of my mother until I was 14 years of age, and if anything it has made us even closer in our relationship. I love my mummy, I do I do.

@Jumpybeaver Well, the British mom I was making a parody about was bf her 8 y.o. daughter. Both of her daughters were naming her breasts and drawing them. You can watch the vid to the right. It's wrong to bf at this age and there is no benefit to it. You don't nurture kids this way. Her husband just smirks. They pray at the dinner table and many people think what a lovely family because they're praying. That means nothing when this is occurring.

Women made vid responses harassing me. I don't understand why this isn't child abuse. I should make a come back and approach this seriously. Even the interviewer asked, "Aren't there other ways to nurture your child?" It seems like these moms want to be nurtured. It might be the last child they can have, but it's not healthy.

This just came to me really to prove a point of how ridiculous it is to bf an 8 y.o. The girl really does play piano and both daughters draw and name the mom's boobs. I never said bf is wrong when it's an infant or even up to 4.2 years which is the average age worldwide for weaning.
