IF they had to throw iron javelin...IF javelin is 2000gr...IF...so what??? jan is the best in throwing 800g javelin...whithout any IF's...and that is all what matters!!! The event is men 800g javelin throw...not men 2kg javelin throw!...so what if you are better in something else??? be the best in what it is, not what you want it to be...that makes you the great one :D ;) jan is simply the best...respect

Seppo Räty was probebly his tought enemy, becose Räty hold the old world record (96,96m) throwed in Punkalaidun in 1991, but some reason world didint not noterade at all that throw? If Jan and Seppo had to be throw ironjavelin, Seppo beat Jan propebly 50 meter longer throw!
seppo used to drink for 10 months in the year, train 1 month, and compete 1 month. if he took what he did seriously who knows how far he could of thrown
yeah, a wached that document on tv2 month a go. Seppo like wery much to train in the gym and he train throwing wery much. In the training day Seppo could throw a hundred(100) throw in the 800g javelin and ((89:th THROW COULD GO 85 METER!)) TOUGHT TRAINING MAN!

he modified the javelin ge threw it with.
his Pb is just 90.60.
to the javelin did the work,
but yet still a remarkable distance.
