  • What Is a Good Ski For Carving?

  • @SkiingPycho334 - Pretty much any All Mountain Ski that fits the needs of your ability level and body type.

  • @SkiingPycho334 if you're intense about carving i would suggest race skis, teyre amazing for carving

  • hes in ski heaven

  • what about for park?

  • What about a pair of twin tip ski

  • i know i need to get twin tips but how can i decide what skis to get, and which ones are better than the others

  • depends on how good you are, personally I have a pair of Palæe scream 111, and I think they are great for jumps and off pist because they are so wide. But also they are hard to handle on the grinds and so on. So width is important for your speciality.

  • i am a skiing the narrowest skis, the more racing ones as i compete from time to time and like speed on hard pack, but as conditions are seldom that hard and get softer go for the mid-fat ones ( 75-86 mm waist) which go well on softer snow as well, twin tips are also great, there's a type for park and pipe and a type, usually shorter, for all mountain and are a bit more for slappy and softer snow and just rip through it and are really stable and manouvarble
