Private currency is not unconstitutional. How could it be? If there actually was such, no one would be forced to use it. It's about as unconstitutional as issuing coupons.
What is unconstitutional is 1) Congress divesting itself of its constitutionally mandated power and granting this power to an unelected, private, and secretive monopoly, 2) The making of anything other than gold or silver legal tender in any state 3) Emitting bills of credit.
I also believe we need to stop devaluing the dollar, get out from under the federal reserve, and get back on the gold standard, where our money is backed by real property.
I agree with you about getting rid of the Fed, but not about trying to return to the gold standard. I'm afraid it's too late for that. If you're curious to look into the issue, take a look at Great Britain and the gold standard. They went back to the gold standard in 1925 and it did not go well. The Breton Woods system after WW2 saw currencies pegged to the dollar, which itself was tied to a fixed price for gold. Richard Nixon was key to breaking up that system in the 1970's.
well i also meant real estate. the government holds the most land in the U.S. we could easily place a value on that, and it's going nowhere. even if they build on it, it's still worth the same thing since it belongs to the government. A fixed real backing is what it should be based on.
the federal reserve serves only a few wealthy people in America. devaluing the dollar only serves to help international companies. and, it hurts the average american.
American government is a bunch of thieves. Why must you do this to the world, you greedy bastards? USA is not a land of freedom anymore. I hope this crysis will bring US to its knees as it deserves. Let the markets speak now!
So, I expect you are from a foreign country. What the hell does H3221 have to with you? Why should this piss you off? Americans don't get pissed at the Germans if they pass and environmental bill, or the Chinese if they allow people to pollute. You foreigners need to mind your own business and quit blaming us for your problems. Look to your own laws and leaders, who play on your envy with bullshit about the USA to keep you distracted from the problems they themselves are causing.
wow they are going to destroy the dollar and switch to electronic currency so they can watch everything we do ! oh, and don't think they won't debit your account if you owe money like to a credit card or child support !
