  • There are multiple ways to do it according to google blog posts, so I'm not sure which is right...

    but can you turn evaporated milk into condensed milk just by adding sugar? Just wondering if you know, and if so, what the conversion would be with evaporated milk to sugar, etc.

  • This is a very good recipe. I really enjoyed it.  I thought there was too much chocolate chip the first time around so I didn't put as much the second time I made it. Overall, it was delicious.

  • baked the crust for 12 minutes but is was still really soft.. baking it longer now, is that ok? hope it will turn out good :D

  • @Rienie every oven is different. go ahead and bake it longer if you like it crustier. You can make a graham cracker crust to if you want. even add some oatmeal to the flour crust.

  • Hi everyone, I'm writing from Macedonia, a place on this planet that barely has most of the ingredients mentioned and used in Laura's recipes. As of this one, I can not stress enough the fact that I've had a lot of difficulties finding a decent condensed milk what so ever and there's no chance of a success finding it's sweetened version at all. Therefore, my question is what options do I have with with a non-sweetened condensed milk (how much additional sugar do I need for this recipe to work)?

  • @bbyann12 New recipes are added to the app with each update (all updates are FREE) - There's a new update 1.1.2 coming soon (hopefully later in the week) that will be adding more recipes to the app! The newest recipes take some time to be added, as recipes are added in groups to the app.

  • @LileeSoeliani19 1 stick of butter is 100 grams. she used two so that's 200 grams. 200 grams = 1 cup!

  • @timemake You sure can. We do it all the time. You just need to make sure you take it out of the freezer and stir it every 30–60 minutes or so.

  • @timemake I heard you can put the mixture in the freezer, but you have to keep stirring it. In my chem class we made it by putting heavy cream, vanilla extract, and sugar into a sealed ziplock bag, and putting it into a bigger ziplock bag full of ice and salt, and sealing it also. Then I shook the bag for about 10 minutes, and I had ice cream. It was actually pretty good.
