I get your point about the advertising, but it's not that surprising when you think about it though. I doubt you could find a single teenager or adult that doesn't know what a "Coke" is here in America...yet they still advertise. The idea is to keep your name in the front of people's minds. To remind them to "try your product." Religious people do that hoping to catch people at vulnerable points in their lives to get them to convert or return to church.

thats one of the many problems with religion they give thanks to there invisible friend instead of the people who do the work. remember when that airplane went do in the river and all the passengers and crew lived. look at all the people who thanked god and forgot about the crew who landed the plane

Anyway the whole thanking god over doctors reminds me of the documentary about North Korea and a doctor that went there to do cataract operations, long story short after the operation people would literal walk past the doctor and bow to the Kim Jong il`s picture, thanking him for giving them there eyesight back.
