Guitar hero is better with accuracy on how the song will be played on real guitar... because i play this song on real guitar.. and they also offer a break of lead guitar at a section in case the player may get tired for a sec but is still accurate on secondary guitar

@textureofcouch And guitar hero's is much better where you can FC gallops by strumming steadily. Rock Band takes more skill, and that makes it more fun and legitimately more challenging, whereas gh goes/went for overcharting (except in this one case) everything to make it harder

It's remarkable how similar the charts are, but in the end, RockBand's chart wins as the better one and the harder one. But it makes sense. Rock Band purposely wanted to make that the hardest song on the game. It wouldn't make sense for Guitar Hero to make the hardest song on the Van Halen game a non-Van Halen song. Maybe it would be better on a mainstream game.......

Guitar hero is what i started with. then i got rock band 2 a few years ago for christmas and that changed everything. I loved Rock Band 2 (didnt like 1) and World Tour had some of the most "nobody" bands on there (though i didnt mind Ozzy).I never played GH 5, but Smash hits was great in my opinion. it took some of the best from the GOOD GH games, but Warriors of Rock's setlist made me have an equal appreciation for both franchises.

Nobody has FCed Painkiller drums even on Expert in the VH version. But even I have FCed Painkiller on Rock band expert drums though.

But guitar on the VH version is way easier. I cant even beat Painkiller expert guitar on Rock band. But I'm no guitarist at all(video game or real guitar) so...

Guitar Hero's is better, because you actually play the lead parts, and that is has Expert+ on the drums. The only thing worse about it is the lack of the drum intro.

well i think rb drum intro is better since ghvh intro sounds slower. i think rb chart is more playable than ghvh guitar since it doesnt have u holding chords then switching at the last second to fast strumming. just my opinions but seriously the intro is slow on ghvh.

Rock Band not only takes the cake for this one, it takes GH's cake and smashes it to the floor. The lack of a drum intro in GH is very dissapointing and the Guitar is laughable compared to RB. Rock Band is the winner on this one.

i think the reason that they put in painkiller in ghvh is because they wanted to chart the drums to make it more accurate but they didn't give a shit for guitar and hardly tried so they are both equal

For the drum part, I would pick Rock Band since it has the bigging. Guitar They did a part of a different Guitar and on Rock Band there was a part they put thats not apart of the real song so Guitar Hero has that. Haven't seen Bass but I know it's good. Vocals when he sings "faster then a speeding bullet, stronger then an atom bomb!" Didn't sound good when Rock Band did it and Guitar Hero Van Halen had the original part so Vocals on that are good. Guitar Hero Can Halen on this one!
