The dub in the beginning fit REALLY well, good idea on that. I think alternate scenes of him and the jounin when he was pulling open his coat before their fight. And laura912, while I agree Kisame's voice sucks in English, I also think the dub has a much more accurate Kyuubi voice, so you can't say never ever.

Uchia Itachi is not a traitor. It was revealed recently in the Manga that Itachi murdered his family because the Uchia clan was planning a coup to take over the village. The Sandaime gave Itachi the task of spying on the Uchia clan. When it became evident that nothing would stop them, Sarutobi gave the order for Itachi to kill the entire clan. He only left Sasuke because he didn't have the heart to kill his younger brother.
