You guys who complain about us and nukes, yes the humans did use nukes during the bad guys campaign and of course that didn't work because you had to destroy them.

Seriously, Launching a nuke to space requires a lot of preparation. so it was thwarted.

This is coming from an optimist even: Humanity would be completely fucked if we alone faced the aliens. You guys are too naive and have been playing too much halo.

The only thing I regret with human in this game, is that they aren't playable. They could have made an Human faction working as techno-leeches, using shitloads of crappy tanks and soldiers to take down enemy units, so that the wrecks could be analysed by scientific squad and turned into usable technology ... ( Resonance Abrams, Lasers Apaches, Scattergun Marines ! :D )

Novus has about the minimum level of technology it seems to fight the Hierarchy, and even they must use superior tactics, mobility, and numbers to defeat them. Now look at Novus technology compared to modern day Human technology, they are centuries ahead of us!

Agreed, in this particular scenario the hierarchy are clearly superior, orbital superiority, superior weapons tech, tougher construction materials, better commanders (orlok) etc...

sadly its true...look at tanks from WW1, todays MBT's can run them over and the same is true in every other arena...except for the obvious weaknesses such as snipers on their unarmored infantry and nukes, i doubt there is much our airforce, armor and navy can do against soldiers from 100 years from now not to mention aliens who are 10000 years more advanced than us.

First, the humans should have snipers to defeat the hierarchy's infantries. Second, no flame troopers just the flame tank. Third, have inflitrators which can either hack or hijack walkers. Fourth, throw sick people at the aliens. Fifth, equip humvees with spikes and chainsaws on the front. Six, fight using unconventional warfare.

We have Emp missiles that can disable the walkers.  We have .50 cal bullets which can penetrate deep into thick armor and burn it at the same time. If the worse happen then we just steal their weapons like the Germans during WW2

If anti-tank weapons can even tickle a walker, a cruise missile will happily turn it into very small, possibly flaming, pieces.

If not, use the AGM-86 ACLM(Block 1), which has a 1,300 Kg warhead. Or roughly 7 gigajoules of C4.

Anyways, we might not win against the Hierarchy in the end. But we would still put up a better fight than what the game shows the humans fighting.
