@m777matt777 No I'm sorry, I don't have a video, but on Battlelog you can see the leaderboards. At the kills tab (I believe) you can see the farrest headshot.... I don't know if it's an actual sniper kill or an EOD bot thingy...

@alesat410 actually it was a mcmillan tac 50 that shot was made with, and 1 mile is 1,760yards which is 1609 meters....also the longest shot was not made by a canadian, the shot was made by an sniper who comes from the UK his name is Craig Harrison he made the shot with an Accuracy International L115A3 chambered in .338 lapua magnum 2475m (2707yards)....and the SECOND longest shot was made by Rob furlong who is the one your talking about except his kill was a range of: 2430m (2657 yards)

@m777matt777 actually, a Canadian sniper indeed had the longest kill shot in history 1.6 something miles using the McMillan TAC .50 BMG. He needed to use better quality bullets than his Canadian 168 grain, so he switched to American made round because it had a higher ignition rate witch propelled faster. Despite the popularity of the gun, if your looking for accuracy the .338 Lapua magnum or the Barrett .416 is the best round for the job. Nice shot on BF3 by the way.
