  • ammm ammmmm ammmm ammmmm ammmm damn you americans!!

  • how is the audio quality off of the microphones? Can you use these for phone calls in a noisy environment?

  • It's ur rigity iPhone

  • How did the Jaybird work out for you.

  • I couldn't finish watching the whole video your way to speak makes me anxious!

  • The skipping out, was because you had wifi turned on. With my iphone, my A2DP cuts out when the wifi is on and searching for wifi AP.

  • I Absolutely Agree , Except The Sound Quality Is Below Average With No Base ! I Dont Reccomend The Motorola ROKR S9 , But They Sounds Way Better Than That Piece Of Crap By Jay Bird ! I Have Been Looking At The Back Beat Blue Tooth Headset By Plantronics Might Just Get Them ! .... Maybe : )

  • There is no device that has STEREO CALLS, that is why you do not hear phone conversations in both ears, it's not even possible right now. Just an FYI.

  • nYC is full of antennas, electronics and devices, thus interference.

  • Do you ever heard about the range problem That these type of headphone got. Some people say that you need to wear these close to your iPhone. Did you prefer the Jay bird or the altec???

  • Thanks for the feedback. I know I need to finish the reviews. These are the first reviews I have ever done. So be patient as I grow into it. LOL But I have to say after using these two for awhile I have stopped using them. I always go back to the wired headsets. I will post a video why in the up coming weeks. all the best, Alan

  • Dude, I was really interested in your review, but you are a horrible reviewer! Prepare yourself and don't get distracted so quickly, very irritating to watch!

  • I wonder if the fact that the headset's pause button doesn't actually pause the music on the iphone (definitely not what you want it to be doing) is due to the iphone's quirky, generally limited bluetooth abilities.

  • I am looking at getting some bluetooth headphones but I think I may hold on for a bit after hearing about both of these.

Just a quick question though, which of the two are smallest? For example, a person with a fairly small head would look ridiculous wearing something that looks out of proportion because it's so big.

    Any help would be appreciated.

  • The JayBirds are smaller, but have been discontinued, they'll have a new microscopic sized headset available in June

  • I wonder if this works with Apps like Tap tap, or any other games, or it only works for music??

Can this bluetooh headset play audio from apps, like games, etc. or it will only play music from our iPhone music app? I'm into games like taptap, rock band, FIFA 10 and it will be nice if this headset supports audio for these type of apps other than only music.

  • The reason you might be hearing cutout on the AL, is because of the left ear antenna. Also, when you're in the subway, the Bluetooth signal will bounce off walls and make it sound great.

I think I'm going to try the Altec Lansings with some acoustic earbuds.

  • Uhm/Ah-o-meter: 100000000000000000000000000000000000!! Hahahaha, dude! Try to prepare before doing a review about something so you wont uhm so much ;) otherwise it was a good review! :)

  • uhm, right, I'd really have appreciated it if your review was more to the point and less "figuring things out as you go"...

  • got the JB200 and theyre crap so i moved onto the AL 903 which will be here in a few days so will let you know. Te AL 903 are slimmer andseem to have a better fit and sound i also like the fact AL 903 have a thick cord s have heard the JB200 cord comes out and if to flimsy JB = FAIL

  • how are the altec lansing??

  • the 903 are good sound excellent, i thought the thick cord would be an issue but not for meoh ant the bluetooth is far better than the jaybird 200 and theyre cheap to :)

  • suck my.. um, uh cock

  • lmfao lol

  • I own both the Jaybird and the Altec Lansing. I bought the Jaybird first and have used them for about 3 months. Good but not perfect I kept looking. I have now owned the Altec Lansing for 2 weeks. Neither is perfect. Both are good but have issues (especially with fit).

Verdict: I hate to put down Jaybirds, as for some, they may be preferable. For me I prefer the Altec Lansing. Superior sound quality & far superior battery life (up to 13 hours--seriously!) the AL edge out Jaybird.

  • "i thought i would prefer the thicker ones..." you size queen! lol just kidding. you're a cutie. thanks so much for showing off those JBs. thinking about getting a pair.

  • So do you have part 3 and what do you like better overall? Thanks

  • hi can you tell me if you can wear glasses with the jaybird and post vid please

  • the reason you are not allowed to pause the iphone music is because the iphone doesnt support AVRCP. blackberrys have that bluetooth profile so that feature does work and is supported by the headset

  • @yellojacks3 Thanks for the comment. The iPhone 3GS is suppose to support the protocols. This is a bug. iPhone OS 3.1 is suppose to fix this. I am waiting to get back my extra phone I lent out to a friend so I can test this.

  • Interesting, I have been trying out Backbeat 903's today, fine sound but when I put the player in my pocket and went for a walk the music kept breaking up - I love everything else about them but they will have to go back. Looking forward to hearing how the Jaybirds perform

  • do you use them with a BB

  • excuse my ignorance - "BB" ??

  • lol im sorry blackberry

  • ah! - no using them with an iPhone 3Gs

  • ooh okay i had that problem with my blackberry but not my iphone thats why i was asking

  • Thanks for the comment. The Jaybirds are better soundwise as they cover more frequencies.

  • You need to compare sound quality. Alot of people here looking at these reviews are audiophiles looking for the best sounding wireless headset; that would be me. I've tried the Motorola S9 HD's and some shitty Sony's. Just got the Altec Lansing's yesterday and was very dissappointed. The bass boost feature makes the low end distorted and pretty much not listenable. I'm planning on picking up the Jaybird's in a couple days to test them out too.
