To me, this is one of the most uplifting Radiohead songs. Usually their songs are very dark but this one feels like coming out of a dark time in your life. Realizing that for a minute there, you lost yourself. This song helped me get over a break up. I lost myself, I couldn't eat, couldn't sleep, but my friends were there for me. Karma came back to bite her in the ass, that's what happened when you mess with me and my friends. Now I'm back and feeling better and able to move on with my life.

I happen to be in a band (and I'm sure many of you are, or at least play, since it takes being a musician to truly appreciate how mindblowing Radiohead is), and this to me is the epitome of being a collective musical unit. The sheer size of the crowd is incredible, and their presence is felt in every chorus and especially at 2:37. I can't imagine being a part of that surge of energy and adrenaline that Thom must've felt when the bridge began...sigh. I'll never be that great, it SUCKS.
