  • 0:15 That is where I like to point out that safeties on pistols kill.

  • @IamaRifle Or, awkward safeties. A frame-mounted safety would have probably not had the same problem.

  • @John234pwns True, but you still see alot of our SF guys switching to glocks. It certainly takes out alot of extra training time.

  • @IamaRifle They've also been using 1911s for many decades now, which are single action and have thumb safeties.

  • @John234pwns That doesn't discount what I said in any way. I think you will also find that the majority of SF 1911 carriers are Marines who have a certain kind of ideology with the 1911.

  • @IamaRifle Well, primarily because the Marines were the only ones to formally request the 1911. I think when it comes down to it, no safety versus a relatively non-intrusive safety is pretty negligible when you're talking about Special Forces; either way, they're going to make it work.

  • Looks like your equipment is hurting you pretty bad. That lack of ambi safety on the M4, and the awkward slide-mounted safety on the M9 is slowing you down a lot. I think sweeping the rifle to your right a little bit, though would aid your transition and keep the carbine from blocking your serpa holster.
