  • Ha, ha...skid marks!? Buh-ha-ha. (sorry)

  • Prince won't let them use the name The Time anymore so go check out there new song called #Trendin under The Orginial 7ven name...

  • after all, this stage shot blew my mind...this grows on me like some ET virus takin over my brain...it's dangerous! 0.33-0.48 may even be the best thing i've seen here, beside of other really cool funk stuff! everybody should see this stuff on a big scale, it would help and save nowadays so-called attempt on 'funky'music!

  • discovering THIS made a happy man...this is PRICELESS! and this particular performance of 777 9311 is the best i've ever witnessed. this is just STUNNING! 30 years NOW!-the song itself-is still one of my favourites!

  • @zarcon85 oh, and 0.33-0.48 is far the coolest thing i've ever saw a human being capable of...thx again!

...lol! doin' it even pisses off prince, which is not too a easy thing to do...maybe MJ was the 'best' dancer ever, but morris is sure the 'coolest'!

  • coolest dude i ever saw!!!]im so cooooool!!!]ice cube]ice tea ]cool j]definite cool addition to best movie"purple rain"

  • great set. but whoever did this is the worst cameraman ever.

  • @SajjMan DUMBASS!!!

  • My kid once asked me what was the style when I was in high school, I simply showed him The Time. He could not believe we dressed that clean all the time when we went out. It was about Stacy Adams, baggies, and a thin tie. Today, these kids wear their pants so low you can see their skid marks. Np progress in style at all, so sad with today's kids. Especially our African American kids.

  • @frogca if iknew, you could buy 'em just like that...i admired these for centuries, since i've seen the record the first TIME, i was 10 years old back then...a week ago, i got my first pair SA's , and i will wear 'em on a prince-concert in a week and until then i'll do the walk to make 'em fit...lol! iwas walking round in suits in school, still do it 2day, but straight 80s style, i hate nowadays suits...bad cuts, most of the time...but now i know, where to get cool stuff...lol!

  • @zarcon85 checkout there new stuff...

  • The baddest group I've ever seen on stge. They stole the show from Prince on their tour with Vanity 6 at the Fox Theatre in ATL.

  • Tori is good but when it comes to cuttin, AIN'T NOBODY BADDER THAN JESSIE!!

  • JESSE IS BETTER

  • @madefrom9: I don't know that Jesse's at another level than Tori. They are on different pages of the book, but Jesse's not a more accomplished guitarist than Tori. Very different styles. Take another listen. If you do you'll find that for the clean rhythm playing, Tori is a tight and smooth on every song as Jesse was back in the day. The difference in solos is drastic. Jesse sounds like Hendrix, Tori sounds like Miles. Keep in mind that Tori is the longest serving lead guitarist for the group.

  • before time i was wearing lee and levi jeans but when came out and said baggie let my thing have freedom i stop wearing jeans and only dress pants til this day i two pairs of jeans that work in everything else is steve harvey, stacy adams only dress attire thank to time

  • How I wish I could listen they o n Live

  • aint nobody bad like jessie johnson for the time sorry torry jessie is the times guitariest u dig you folks out there dont ever forget itu feel me .

  • @DLDiroc: Jesse Johnson is a great guitarist & will always have a unique place in the history of The Time. If you wanna get a little deeper, each musicians approach to the instrument is drastically different. Jesse is a blues based guitarist whose been heavily influenced by Hendrix. Tori is a Jazz-Rock-Funk Fusion influenced guitarist. Both great! Tori Ruffin is a great guitarist whose actually been the longest serving lead guitarist for The Time which says something about his skills!

  • I was totally indoctrinated by The Time to get the girls

and by Prince to know what to do with them once I had them!

  • The tone of that guitar sounds a whole lot like the studio records... I like the live treatment of "Cool" too on this video.

  • FUNKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKY

  • Band! anybody hot? you know why? cause we're cool!

  • F**K YEAH!

  • "Ain't nobody bad like me!' seeeeee, OH, OH, ELLLLLL!!

  • Great performance. I wish they had Jessie on that guitar though. This dude is good but Jessie is on another level.

  • JellyBean... bring me my mirror!

  • They Still Got It, And never Lost It!

  • They Still Got It. What Am I Saying? They Never Lost it!

  • so awesome, nice post... I saw them live in a small club in detroit in the 90's ... so great live ~ !!

  • The best R&B/Funk band that Prince had ever invented.Pure genius!
